Next to Hamburg main station, concierge was away from the room, four flights of stairs no lift working, unsafe and intimidating outside.

The hotel was wonderful. We loved the attic room with the cool air coming through the window. However the area around the hotel didn’t feel safe. It was close to the main train station which is why we chose it. I would not be going out after dark in that neighbourhood.

Hotel was secure and close to the train station. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was large and cleaned every day. Shower was powerful and water was hot. The room didn't have a window that could be opened - so there wasn't much fresh air. And the window that was there had no curtain, blind, etc. - so it did get very bright very early each morning. And the area around the hotel is a bit sketchy, a few homeless people and drunks and drug users (although they left me alone and I never felt unsafe).

I wouldn't hesitate to give this a rating of 0 or below zero if possible. The reception staff are truly terrible troublemakers with no respect for customers. Consider checking elsewhere, as they're always trying to extract money, offering various excuses. I don’t recommend it to anyone seeking a decent and enjoyable time in the city. The place is filled with drunkards and drug dealers. Now you have the information you need.

We paid for 2 double beds and ensuite, but were but in a room with one double bed and the bathroom was down the corridor. When we went to reception the next day, we were told reception was closed. Even the man was there. The room was fine but annoying as we had paid extra for the convenience of having an ensuite and 2 beds and didnt get it.

The shower had mold all over it we didn’t even shower at all !!! It was dirty we found a key in the bed !! Outside disgusting garbage everywhere and a lot of drunks was outside the main door ! Check in is not in the same building would be nice if they tell u this when u book we had to Carry 6 suitcases back and forth ! Elevator only goes to 4th floor last floor u have to carry ur luggage !! We had to open the window because it was hot in there and outside was loud music we had to listen to !!

Never got to the hotel! My original search was "hotel in Hamburg with free airport shuttle".. Check in Hamburg was located in an area where we thought we could see quite a bit of the city walking in an afternoon, evening and morning before our flight to London. When the contact number was called I was curtly told that they did not have an airport shuttle. Asking to cancel, again curtly informed it was prepaid and non-refuindable, to contact Expedia about a refund.

El peor hotel de mi vida …
Lo peor de lo peor!!! Nunca he visto un hotel tan feo e incómodo y peligroso : nos dieron habitaciones en el quinto piso con ascensor roto desde hacía semanas. Quando pedimos de cambiar habitaciones ( todos con más de 60 años y kilos de sobra) nos dijeron simplemente que lo lamentaban ….Es peligroso y deberían ser reportados a las autoridades competentes que les apliquen sanciones! Además, luces que no funcionaban, colchones vencidos (con resortes saltados!) , mal trato desde el comienzo….en fin : un verdadero asco! Hotel.com debería sacarlos de su listados de hoteles (?) immediatamente!

Fahrstuhl kaputt und bis in den 5. Stock mit schwerem Gepäck laufen? Hausalarm war auch noch kaputt.. geht gar nicht. Und draußen war es so laut, hat sich richtig gefährlich angehört. Würd ich nicht wieder, dann lieber mehr Geld für ein anderes Hotel ausgeben.

Camera minuscola aprendo le braccia toccavo finesta e porta uguale girandomi di 180 gradi. il Bagno èra minuscolo e "ovviamente" in un altra stanza nel corridoio". Nessuna recpion, non un caffè o una bottiglia d'acqua, nienete aria condizinata... insomma... io lo ho preso perchè era uno dei pochi posti rimasti per andare ad una fiera. Se così deve essere l'anno prossimo rinuncio alla fierra.

Da vi ankom fandt vi ud af at der ingen reception var, så vi skulle finde en anden afdeling af hotellet for at få nøglekortet. Da vi kom tilbage og fandt vores værelse, fandt vi så ud af at "eget bad" var ude på gangen. Det var rent og fint, men ikke særlig spændene at skulle ud og ned af gangen for at gå på toilettet. Da vi kom hjem om aftenen, måtte vi ved to lejligheder flytte personer uden hjem fra hoveddøren for at komme ind på hotellet. Der var ingen ac på værelset, så vi måtte sove med vinduet åbent. Dette var ikke særlig behageligt da gaden genlød af råb, skrig og lyden af glas som blev smadret. Der var også lyden af politisirener flere gange om natten. Vi tænkte at det nok ville blive bedre efter weekenden, men det var ikke tilfældet. Det kulminerede den sidste aften/nat hvor vi kiggede ud af vinduet for at se hvad den pludselige støj skyldes. Der så vi så en person blive slået ned, og kort efter kom politiet forbi igen igen. Jeg plejer ikke at være sart eller brokke mig, men dette sted og område kan på igen måde anbefales. Og da vi kom hjem, havde vi så også fået lopper med hjem

Das Hotel kann nichts für seine Lage im Steindamm. Die Türen und Zugänge sind mit Keycard passierbar und es gab keinen "Fremdzugang". Zum Zimmer: Es ist ordendlich und sauber gewesen, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, bis hin zu Völlig angemessen.Dadurch das wir an der Hauptstraße waren (ausrichtung Zimmer) war es durchgehend sehr laut,was dazu führte das das Fenster nur geschlossen war und es bei 30 grad sehr warm und stickig wurde.Ab 23 uhr patroliert die Polizei in der Straße,pluspunkt für Hamburg, es wird wirklich was unternommen. Einen kleinen Kühlschrank zur aufbewarung von Getränke oder Medikamenten wäre eine gute Aufwertung. Die Sanitären Einrichtungen waren immer sauber! und benutzbar. Zu Verbesserungsvorschlägen: Kleiner Kühlschrank Bessere Vorhänge (passend und komplett verdunkelnd) Besserer Schallschutz für an der Straße wohnende. Wir haben nicht viel erwartet, waren dennoch positiv überrascht. "Wer das Eine will, muss das Andere mögen"
