A perfect balance of classical architecture and modern convenience and design sensibility. The well-appointed and immaculate suite has tall ceilings and windows, well stocked fridge and small kitchen appliances, even an in-room washer/dryer combo! The bed is super comfortable. We loved everything!

Centrally located - walked everywhere we wanted to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner was also very good. The airiness and architectural details set the property apart from others. It was also nice to be able to do a load of laundry. My husband loved the sauna.

AWESOME!!!

I've stayed in many hotels in my life, this one was by far one of the best, if not the best dollar per dollar value I've ever gotten. Every detail within the room was thought of, including free minibar drinks, amazing shampoo/shower gel products from L'OCcitane, great qualify bathrobs, slippers, etc. Room was extremely clean, and front staff very courteous. I'm definitely staying at this hotel again the next time I'm in Hamburg, Germany.

Absolutely only good things to say about the hotel. Everything was as it should be. The location is amazing. And the inside is really nice. Modern but with character and charm. Would love to come back.

The location is amazing. The staff is very helpful. The room is spacious but the carpet was stained/faded from the sun and the couch was also stained. The casting function of the TV was rather inconvenient and only worked one day. They did give me some money back for this however. It was not a particularly happening location in terms of guests although the restaurant/bar was quite posh. The location is quite nice, with a three lines nearby and even a tour bus stop around the corner. The cost was reasonable, and in the end, I would 70% stay there again.

Fly problem, especially on food

Flies on the food for the breakfast and flies in the room. Just very unfair to pay for the breakfast and not even being able to eat it because of the flies. This was a very expensive hotel but did not feel like it.

Amazing hotel!!

Best hotel I’ve stayed at! Gorgeous, clean, old architecture on the outside but completely modern on the inside. Our two rooms included everything in the minibar free! And there was a clothes washer in the room! The shower was unbelievably wonderful and the a/c worked great (which was a plus because it was an extremely hot day). The staff were super friendly and helpful (took bags to room, put us in taxis, etc). The bar/restaurant is super fancy looking so we finished the night with a bourbon nightcap in there.
