At a good location at the eastern end of the beautiful hanseatic City, this hotel met all our needs and expectations. The front desk could be just a bit friendlier. A smile goes a long way.

Better each time
I have stayed at H4 Bergdorf many times now and each stay seems to get better. This time was great and i had an amazing room, perfect location in the hotel. Hotel close to everything and everyone i needed to see.

Our stay at H4 Hamburg-Bergedorf was very comfortable. The staff was nice and the room was very clean. The continental breakfast was very tasty. Train station about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to get you into the main city area or elsewhere!

Great place, good value for the money, clean rooms, great breakfast bar, unfortuately no air conditioned rooms which made it necessary to keep the window open for flow of air exposing you to the rather loud environment the hotel is located at. Overall a pleasant stay though .

The hotel’s rating is well-earned and not too pricey considering the services you get. I think some renovations will soon be needed as the hotel sees a lot of heavy use (a good thing) so it’s resulted in some chairs having chipped leather. In my particular case, the grouting on the bathroom walls was falling off and the floor lining needs a replacement. Most importantly: the beds were very comfortable.

Good experience, nice room. A bit on the old days type but I don’t mind as long as it’s clean and doesn’t smell. I missed the air conditioning (there was none) and the fact that the complimentary water waiting for us in the room was, for some reason, not kept in the empty working little fridge, but rather just underneath it. Very good selection for breakfast.

Perfect hotel for an overnight stay
Nice hotel in the a suburb to Hamburg. Fresh, modern, with very nice rooms, a restaurant with a bar open...at any times it seems and a breakfast which leaves nothing to be desired. Perfect spot if you are travelling and need a place to spend the night
