Avoid if you can, the room was not booked was not given, we were given a different room, with run down interior in a dark hall. When I talked to front desk staff he talked nice but said he had no other room. He said he will try to switch us the day after but there was zero attempt to do so or even communicate about. As a frequent traveller I won't go back or suggest do to my negative experience. There is low will even to maintain the pace up to standards

Very little of the facilities were functioning; no restaurant & no breakfast. The walls are quite thin and the neighbouring families were noisy, up until about 1am. Great value and good location
There are a ton of stairs so don’t bring heavy luggage. Great location next to 150 bus stop or 10 minute walk to 62 ferry. Old hotel so creaky and not very quiet but very beautiful and charming. I didn’t have hot water in sink or shower. The tea kettle upon arrival was such a treat. Slept great, could have used another pillow or one that wasn’t deflated and flat.

A nice hotel with friendly staff in the centre of Finkenwerder. There are lots of shops and a few restaurants within easy walking distance.

The room was a more recent addition one floor down overlooking car park and housing, so had natural light and if you drove you would be able to see your car etc. We used Bus 150 which was convenient for stops for our visit to area beyond river Elbe and for going into Hamburg. Breakfast more than adequate, with some hot/ lots of cold items. Happy.

Die Lage des Hotels finde ich gut, weil es sehr nah zum Fähranleger in Richtung Stadt, zu einigen Restaurants und einem Supermarkt liegt. Die Zimmer zum Hinterhof sind sehr ruhig, jedoch recht klein.

Es war ok...
Mehr als eine Nacht würde ich dort nicht übernachten. Laut Aussage des Rezeptionisten sollte sich aber bald etwas an dem Zustand ändern. Ich hoffe dass das durchgesetzt wird. Es roch etwas alt, die Matratze war etwas schmutzig und wurde daher einfach nur umgedreht aufs bett gelegt. Die Rezeption ist einfach nur ein Schreibtisch.
