This one’s a winner…a venerable hotel across from the main train station. It’s lobby, restaurant and bar echo the property’s 120 year history, with updated and crisp bedrooms, efficient and friendly personnel, and an unbeatable location in terms of access to the rest of the city. Bedrooms very a lot. Some are significantly larger than others, so it’s worth making sure you’re getting what you want.

Excellent stay and service!
My stay at the Reichshoft Hamburg was excellent. The hotel is centrally located just across from the Hamburg Central Station and other amenities in the city. The front desk staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was very clean, and everything in it functioned as expected. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to travel to the airport or if you want to travel by rail to other parts of Germany or Europe. I will definitely stay at the Reichshoft again.

Fantastic stay at this hotel, great location for tourists, lovely room, good bathroom and water pressure in walk in shower, quiet even though it's a busy area of Hamburg. Free safe, coffee machine, comfortable bed, only lacking was any English TV channels would have been nice even bbc World or sky news.

Great staff, comfortable hotel
An excellent hotel. The welcome was warm, the decor fresh, the room spotless, the design well-planned. It is very central, so some street noise can intrude, but the location is worth it. The basement sauna is a bonus, worth booking in advance at a discount.

Fantastic stay. Staff were exceptional. Hotel had wow factor every time you walk in. Room and bed were excellent as was the shower and coffee facilities in the room. Right next to train station which is spectacular and short walk to city centre. Nothing negative to say about our whole stay.

Locations great next to station. Good clean room albeit on the smaller side for the price paid. Breakfast was always busy, staff not overly helpful at breakfast. Paying 10€ daily for Steam/Sauna is a bit of a shame considering every hotel in its vicinity has no cost attached, even those with pools.

Top Hotel mit gehobenem Flair. Viele Restaurants sind nur ein paar Schritte weit entfernt. Hat etwas imperiales an sich wie sonst nur britische Hotels im Commonwealth. Ich meine das im positiven Sinn.

Lovely, elegant hotel near Central Station. Great bed & pillows ( I normally struggle with hotel pillows). Huge shower. Excellent breakfast if required. Wonderful old style bar nestled at the back of the hotel.
