Great location! Ample parking space. Clean property & friendly staff. Stores, pharmacy & restaurants close by.
In general, my stay at this hotel is always good. The one flaw is the desk clerk who works second shift reeks of B.O., and the staff has been made aware of it, but yet nothing changes. It's offensive to the point the sliding door opens and that's what you smell when you walk into the lobby.
Room was bog standard in every sense and even in it's cleanliness.
My main gripe was with the reception staff who did everything in her power to not go above and beyond where ever she could. (I think it was Tammie)
Ultimately, it was my fault for not checking that check in is at 4pm and checkout is 11am
However, I arrived early as I had a conference to attend at 12pm.
Any question I asked to try and help me with my time predictiment was met with a shrug, no interest in helping.
The worst part was that she said the earliest I could check in would be 2pm and there was nowhere in the interim to change into my conference attire so I had to use a local mall's bathroom
Then returning to the Uncomfortable inn at 11.45 I asked one last time if I could even store my bag in a room that wasn't tidied yet as I just wanted to make sure it was secure, then suddenly she advised me my room was clean so the mixed messaging and the embarrassment of having to get changed in public toilets just left a sour taste.
It's enough of a reason to have a red flag in my mind ever considering Comfort Inn for future stays.
