No towels until requested, no tissues, no phone, no table lamp, door lock was tricky. There was a lot of trampling noise from the stairs and walk outside until 4 am.

The man at the front desk was kind and funny upon checking us in. The door to the room was definitely unsafe in terms of locking. The door also face the pool and the curtains weren’t blackout so any passerby could have glimpsed us in some peculiar positions like getting out of the shower etc. some quick changes could include adding blackout curtains, add a small cheap stand to the bathroom to place toiletries and wash cloths, consider including two bottles of inexpensive water in the rooms. To increase luxury they could add memory foam toppers to the mattress to increase comfort.

Hotel room was clapped. Beds were terrible. The kitchen cupboards were falling off hinges. Just all in all crappy room for price. AC worked good and close walk to beach but all in all probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The stairs felt really weird, they sink in a bit and are a trip hazard. My wife tripped and fell down them badly while holding our 2 year old and they wouldn’t let us file an incident report

Dirty and trashy

The room was dirty, tub was disgusting, carpet filthy, visible stains on the comforter, towels stained, old and rough. Had a cheap trashy motel feel to it. NEVER AGAIN!

The pictures on Expedia were different than what the place looked like. Needed updates and overhaul. Shower curtain torn and dirty, so much road noise. Hotel ran out of shampoo. Let the sign on the door room needs attention. No one showed up. Sliding door was broken.n

The building is a little outdated. Toilet paper holder was broken. There was only one towel when we arrived-- we were expecting 4, as we reserved for a room for 4 occupants. Nevertheless, proximity to the beach was nice. The staff was courteous.

Liked that it was close to the beach and restaurants. The area around the hotel was dirty and our room was clean, TV worked but couldn’t get a good picture, scrambled. Walls are thin and you can hear other people talking and kids playing. Beds are comfortable. We would probably not stay here again.

A great place right on the beach with a nice warm relaxing pool. Staff are wonderful and helpful. Clean and family friendly. Parking is tight, but they help make it work!

Check in room had nothing when listed a kitchen. Asked for spatular dish soap and dish cloth and toaster. They bring us a spoon, toaster a face cloth and a plastic cup with some soap to wash dishes. They also wanted to charge us 30 to check in early at noon then wanted to charge extra to leave your car after check out at 10am. I would never stay there again.

My stay at the Ships Inn was fair. The staff was very friendly. The facility could use some basic cleaning and upgrades. Some obviously old marks and dirt on the walls, appliances etc. Some broken items in the room. The beds and linen were clean though. Bathrooms were also clean. The second room I stayed in had a lock to the door that was very difficult to use. Very difficult to lock from the outside. It is also too close to the frame. Hard to use without injuring your hand. The facility is what I thought it would be. It was okay for 2 adults. If I had young children I would have been a little uncomfortable with the conditions.

Good location. Dont bring valuables balcony door was unlocked and chairs were placed on each side which could allow someone to climb around wall from ajoining room exterior door on porch could possibly be popped with card. main room door did not feel secured properly opened to reveal a gap afterlocking. Bed was not a quality matress. wear shower shoes could have been cleaner. not disappointed for the price or the convenience ( location) would definately consider staying there again

The lamp and TV in our room were broken and the parking was not ideal. The door to the outdoor area didn't lock, allowing someone to easily enter if they knew the door was broken. For the amount of money that was paid, you would think it would be in better condition.
