We traveled back to this hotel for the pool but it was closed for renovations. No notice provided. They made an agreement to use the Vacation Village pool nearby. While we appreciated it, it still wasn’t the same as having the pool at our location.

All was as expected, except that the pool was closed for repairs! We are frequent visitors to the area and have stayed at the Wyndham Bentley Brook many times in the past. We always choose this hotel when traveling with children because of their outstanding indoor / outdoor pool. I reserved my room several months ago, and a week before check in got an email reminding me that my reservation would be non-refundable shortly afterwards. The very next day, I received an email from the property, explaining that the pool was closed and would remain that way for several weeks due to repairs and maintenance. Had I known this information earlier, I would have tried to get a room with pool facilities at another hotel before letting my reservation become non-refundable. The room was fine, the rest of the facilities were as expected, but my children were disappointed.

Overall, my stay was pleasant. There were just some minor things that could have made my stay a lot better. First, the sound proofing was a bit terrible. In the bedroom I was in, I could hear everything in the next room, even a person snoring throughout the night, which made it very distracting and somewhat unpleasant. Also, there was a constant stale smell in the room once I arrived and throughout my stay which was also unpleasant. Other than that, the view, the amenities, and location were great!

Great place to stay in the Berkshires. They had a lovely social hour on Monday. Only drawback when I checked in lady didn't tell me what floor my room was on. I had another guest help me with it.
