Had an excellent stay here a couple years back. Was excited to return, however was quite dissatisfied this time round with the room The spa pool water was yellow tinged and felt slimy. Getting out I felt filthy and not relaxed, chose this accommodation specifically for the spa pool, so was disappointed that it didn’t appear clean. The spa bath had black marks/chips across the bottom making it look like it was full of specs of dirt. There was alot of rust on the body wash holder in the shower. The positive was the buffet breakfast, that was very yummy and good array of options.

Was nice and relaxing and enjoyable. The only thing that could be improved is the spa it wasn’t that hot it was almost luke warm water and wasn’t able to turn the temperature up so wasn’t able to sit in it for long as it was cold and that was the main reason I booked that suite

Very nice place to stay
Braemar is a very nice place to stay at. We only stayed 1 night but the time we were there we were impressed. The only issue we had was with the restaurant. 1 piece of the meal was very undercooked. Other than that the drinks, dessert and breakfast were good. We would stay there again.

Nice room and spa. Breakfast good too. However when we asked to have vegetarian options made available for the dinner menu, we were not accommodated. Also seal up the road leading into the property, gravel road makes too much dust and messes up the car as well as being unhealthy for the Alpacas on the road side. Put a sign by electric vehicle chargers stating to move the car once it is charged so someone else can charge their car! Also gardens need to be maintained.

It was once a very nice retreat which seems to have been let go. Was impossible to contact staff from inside or outside resort so drove all the way back from town only to be told that the restaurant that is advertised as open 7 days a week was closed so had to drive back to town to try and find food. Not quite what we expected

The Lodge was in a beautiful location, rooms were very large and well appointed, the view from our room was fantastic very private, added bonus was waking up to snow. The disappointing thing about our room was not being able to use the spa bath as the water coming out of the pipes was brown.

Our stay was average. The room was a great size and had a beautiful view, it was a shame the bath tub, shower floor and spa were very dirty and slimey considering we paid extra to have the private spa. Overall the view, staff at the entrance and room were great but not the cleanliness.
