Absolutely lovely place to staying the hosts are the moat nices people. Room was gawjus, clean and tidy., i couldn't fault anything. We arrived late at night in the cold and when we got up to our room the heatpump was going and our room was warm and cozy. Id never stay anywhere apart from the St James in future. Highly recommend.

Sharon was very helpful suggesting local hikes and offers towels to take to the Hamner Spring pools. The room was clean and the kitchen was modern with a microwave and dishwasher. The town for being small had several good options to eat and of course the Sulphur pools were wonderful.

We were welcomed by a fine staff. The room was great with the exception of a bit of a dip in the bed. The bathroom was clean and well apointed. The area was perfect. I would recommed others. Its a great place to stay

Friendly staff in a beautiful location. Clean usable kitchen with every piece of equipment needed. Just watch that the fridge isn't on the coolest setting as it will freeze your items.

Superb accommodation in great location.

We are frequent visitors to Hanmer Springs and have stayed in a variety of accommodation types and locations. The St James is my favourite thus far. From the friendly and personal check-in experience to the generous luxurious, immaculately clean and well appointed room ,The St James did not disappoint. The location was fabulous - adjacent to the shops and town centre, close walking distance to the thermal pools, recreational activities, restaurants and cafes along with outdoor walking tracks and amenities. I will definitely be back , this time for a longer stay.
