This hotel does not deserve even 2 star. The staffs were helpful but hotel was very old. It needs to be renovated. The room was not clean enough. They sell the room with window but without sun light and air. That kind room has to include more explanation but there wasn't any info when I reserve it. I have claustrophobia. That's why I reserved a room with window but I didn't know that window was just opposite of wall and there was only 30 cm between wall and window. That night was a nightmare because there was not availibility for the room with real window for two nights. The other night I went to cruise trip to not to stay that room again.

Great place close to old quarter
We’ve stayed here 3 nights in total and the hotel is great value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast has several options and is fresh and tasty. Hotel kindly kept our bags while we went on an overnight trip to halong bay.

Good choice for this part of Hanoi
Decent hotel. Good value. Can't ask for much more at this price level. Very clean, good breakfast, good service, and nice rooftop lounge to enjoy.

Decent cheaper end of the scale hotel. Comfy bed, but layout a bit awkward. Clear window in the shower was a bit weird (had to use towels to cover), sound proofing not the best, but breakfast was good.

Fantastic good and clean budget hotel. Thumb up for cleanliness. Come with international breakfast too. Only improvemwnt is the bath drainage area. Yet bearable.

Budget and wonderful stay
We stay a total of 8 nights at Hanoi Pho. For that budget price, we got a international breakfast every morning. Thumb up for this. Many four stars hotel cannot compare to Hanoi Pho on cleanliness of bathroom and beds. Location is walking distance to everywhere at the old quarter. Local food plentuful too. Get to mix with the local people too. Stay here you won't go wrong. Small concern matter is just the drainage at the bath area. Bearable too.

Very very comfortable hotel. It was probably the best one I stayed can in during my multi city vacation. I got the VIP welcome upon checking in. Furnishings are new with a nice view of local life outside. I enjoyed coming back to the room and relaxing in there. Breakfast buffett was good. Hotel also has a tour agency inside if you're interested. At first, it's hard to find it if you're new to Hanoi. I walked through the busy narrow sidewalks with my suitcase but eventually found it.
