This was the second time in two years we have stayed at the Royal Premium. Both times we have been impressed with this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-decorated. The location is great for those who want to walk through the old quarter. Hoan Kiem lake and the old cathedral are a short walk. The breakfast buffet was great for a boutique hotel. The most impressive thing though is the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this option for your next trip to Hanoi. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Excellent hotel in a great location, extremely clean and well maintained with many amenities. It was also characterized by superb service of all the staff members. I would also like to mention that breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food and beverages.

THE NAME SOUNDS GOOD, BUT THE HOTEL IS HORRIBLE!

At check in the staff was quite friendly, however upon arriving to our actual room on the 8th floor (which the elevator stops on the 7th floor) so you had to climb up 20+ steps with absolutely NO AIR CONDITIONING or even a breeze blowing in the stairwell. Upon arriving at our room it had not been cooled down and possibly not entered in weeks prior to our arrival. Our hotel rooms temperature was actually 92 degrees fahrenheit according to my cellphone upon entering our room. There was only 1 smaller type air conditioner that never seemed to cool off the room after an hour with it leaking water all over the rooms floor after being on for 10 minutes. The WiFi would come on for 3-4 minutes and then go out for 15 minutes. Then come on, go out… Just in the short hour or so we stayed in our hotel room there were at least a minimum of 20 - 25 ambulances arriving at the hospital directly across the street from the hotel (the same side as our room) with their loud sirens blaring constantly. The room doors were not solid wood but with a plastic upper portion for easy breakage. No camera’s in the room area either. This was a TOTAL LOSS and disappointment. We had moved to a better hotel were everything worked and we felt safe!!! This hotel did not have or feel or seem safe. 😳

Me and my wife could not have been happier with this hotel all the staff did everything they could to make our honeymoon stay memorable, our room was beautifully made up with rose petals and it really was beyond my expectations and the breakfast each morning really first class and in an ideal position to explore the great city of Hanoi specially the old quarter thouroughly recommend staying here as i have travelled a lot around Asia and this hotel is in the top 5 ever.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. The staff are a fantastic team, and are so enthusiastic in helping you get the best out of your stay with them - and in Hanoi. Great location in the Old Town and easy walking to the best spots. A really authentic hotel which encapsulates sights and sounds of the real Vietnam. Would definitely stay there again. The staff are all smiles under the great management of Anna, the Hotel Manager. Nothing is too much trouble.
