Everything that could go wrong, did! No hot water, really uncomfortable box mattress with no bed , TV never worked, bad breakfast, did not clean the room when they said they will, and talking to front desk did not help at all. They were sorry but didn’t do anything about it. This hotel was rated as 4* which is not correct at all. At very best 1*. Our worst experience in Vietnam!

We spent a comfortable two weeks here and enjoyed the friendly staff. It is a very acceptable hotel for the price. We booked suddenly when we arrived at another hotel that was subpar. The included breakfast was being served across the street at the related hotel—we tried it once but weren’t motivated to go back, but we did use the rooftop bar at that hotel several times. The location is excellent, in the Old Quarter near the lake. We had a good stay.

Hotel was located conveniently in the middle of Old Quarter Hanoi, close by to many restaurants, street food stalls and local businesses. It is a short 5 minutes walk to the bustling Hoang Kiem lake. The staff was very attentive and friendly. There is always a person available to help with to luggage and opening the door for guests. The breakfast buffet was quite good with a variety of food, from diy banh mi to pho, all included with your stay. The hotel was clean and well kept. Staff make up the room every day and generously replenish tooth brush, paste, soaps and towels. Overall, this hotel is in a great location with good amenities and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again for future stays in Hanoi.
