Nice hotel, great location

Great stay & great location. Only negative to consider is elevator only goes to floor 12 then walk a flight of stairs to pool which is inside but there is no room to lay around. There is 2 seats to sit on but everyone going to restaurant walk right past you in the pool to go ip another 6 stairs to restaurant & another lot to roof top bar. Pool is also freezing cold. We weren’t aware of this when booking.

This hotel is getting a mixed review. The hotel rooms are nice but the carpets in the rooms and the corridors are atrocious. Dirty and smelly.........They have a nice breakfast spread and the location is perfect for shopping...........

Was very good, great location. I was disappointed with where pool is inside & walking past it to the restaurant. You can’t lay around it & it was absolutely freezing. I think people should know the elevator only goes to floor 12 then you have to walk stairs to pool, restaurant & skybar

great location and clean. excellent breakfast. great staff, friendly courteous, helpful. Overall great hotel, except I had an incident where my room was small and had to put luggage on the bed. It left some dirt marks on the duvet and I got charged for cleaning needed for the duvet. Manager was nice and discounted a $20 cost to $10. And they gave me a room upgrade when I returned back again from my overnight trip in Halong Bay. Make sure you don't dirty the duvet!

A lovely stay in an area central to everything but quiet too. I wouldn’t book a room without a window again for more than 1 night as the air purifier is quite loud but the rest of the facilities are excellent.

Good but nothing close to the real REX in Saigon.

It's a good hotel but it's not like the REX Hotel I have stayed in Ho Chi Minh which is a real 5 star. I've heard the owners are completely different as well. But for the price and the amazing location, I still enjoyed it. It's 2 min away by walk from the famous Shark building and my room was relatively quiet on the 10th floor. The tour they recommended me with Heritage Travel was excellent and I was able to use their very modern and new bus tour and had an excellent tour guide. The breakfast buffet was very good. I only wish some of the staff at the lobby were friendlier. I met a lot who were very kind, but also some who seemed to be colder or careless during the check-in. I would say it's only 1 or 2 people out of many, so in general I am still satisfied with my 5 nights in this hotel.

Great location

Brilliant location in Old Town, really right in middle. We did not have any issue with noise and had a great night sleep. Staff friendly and great breakfast. Good views from rooftop bar. Would stay here again.

It's close to everything within the old quarter. It's clean. Breakfast is great. Staff at the entrance to the roof top bar have been very polite and welcoming. Front of house has been very helpful and informative throughout.

This hotel is located in the centre of the old quarter so if you are looking for the hustle and bustle of Hanoi with shops and bars, this is the location for you. Don't choose it if you are looking for a relaxing break, but do choose it you are travelling or passing through. The hotel was very clean and the service from the staff was excellent, they really couldn’t do enough for you. The only negative I would share is if you are looking for a hotel with a pool, this is not the hotel for you, as it’s cold and adjacent to a corridor. There is also slight street noise in the rooms, but what do you expect, you’re in the centre of Hanoi in a brilliant location.
