Excellent location, lovely staff, wonderful room. We splurged on the VIP room and it did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom. I cannot state enough how nice the staff were. The breakfast was great too, different options everyday. I would stay here repeatedly if I came back to Hanoi. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Do not hesitate to book here.

WiFi worked better at the lake over the road than it did in my room. Bed was very comfortable, but the room was poky and dark, with a pointless window onto a light shaft, very claustrophobic.

A beautiful hotel right across from Hoan Kiem Lake. Thuy, Hau, Trong Nguyen and the rest of the front of house staff were friendly and informative, and my room was always kept nice and clean by the housekeeping team. There was even fresh fruit and cookies as a turn-down treat!The food in the restaurant was lovely, and there's a gorgeous on site cafe with a good selection of cakes. My airport pick up was good and hassle-free. Overall, would definitely recommend for an Hanoi visit as it is walking distance from many of the main sites.

We had such a wonderful 5-night stay at Silk Path! After a long trip to Hanoi, it was so nice to be greeted by such friendly faces immediately upon arrival. We instantly felt relaxed and comfortable in a new place. They were attentive to all our needs and quick to give fantastic recommendations throughout our stay. We felt sad to leave our new friends but their hospitality make a return to this wonderful city a certainty. And I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone who is lucky enough to have the opportunity. Thank you, again!

Hotel is small but well laid out it is next to Hoan Kiem lake so convenient to Old Quarter and other shopping. Rooms are cute and kept very clean. Front desk , restaraunt, and Bell staff very friendly and helpful.

Good Location, Bad Overall Experience
It was not a good experience. We had a leak in the bathroom that required visits on 2 different days before it was finally repaired properly. This meant we could not use the toilet for many hours and had to go to the bathroom in the lobby downstairs. Also, the wi fi in the room never worked for more than a few minutes. So, I had to lug my laptop down to the lobby when I needed to use it. Staff was nice but that didn't make up for the problems. I asked for a partial refund and never got a reply. Would not stay here again.

We were moved to another Silk Path Hotel in Hanoi as the air-conditioning had broken down on floor 8 where our rooms were. The replacement hotel was bigger and better and our rooms were upgraded. We also had breakfast thrown in. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, allowing us to store luggage for 2 days whilst we went on a cruise. On return we were allowed to use shower facilities before our return flight to the UK. The service from the hotel was excellent.

Best hotel experience
One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! Five star service by very friendly staff. Giang, Linh, Hou, Nhuang and all the staff were exceptional. Beautiful clean hotel with amazing rooftop views. Great location on the lake with many shops and cafes nearby. The hotel owns S’Patisserie next door which has great food as well. Enjoy!

Outstanding location with incredible staff and affordable price. Walkable to everything. The streets are closed on Fri 6pm thru Sunday midnight. The streets come alive with markets, street performers, kids riding small electric cars, etc. Foodie's ideal spot to try a variety of options. Food street, Beer street, train street, and others are all within a few minutes walk.

I had to upgrade my room upon arrival as I booked for 2 adults and one child and when I arrived the bed was way too small. I also expected a window but when arrived saw a ventilation shaft with no light coming into the room.
