Needs updating and better cleaning

The bathroom and sheets were clean, but the room felt very damp. The entry door had to be shoved to open after being unlocked. There were areas in the room that obviously had not been cleaned in some time. The upholstery on the side chair was filthy. In general the rooms need to be updated. I cut my stay a day short.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I stayed here the night before a 24-hour conference followed by a 12-hour international flight, the only chance I had to rest. Instead, I spent the night dealing with bed bug bites all over my body. It was not only distressing but completely ruined my ability to recover before important commitments. I was finally moved to another room at 3:40 AM, but by then, the damage was done. I immediately requested a refund but have yet to receive anything. The lack of accountability and response from the hotel is shocking.

The parking lot was too small and dirty. One guy just parked on the muddy grass next to the building, not in the parking lot at all! There was a strange car parked in back of the hotel which was full, up to the windows, front and back, with little white plastic bags. Just weird. And there were some sketchy people in the lobby. The room was somewhat worn but incredibly clean, and the people behind the desk were very nice. Whoever is managing this hotel is doing a great job with what they have.

Room was clean, but carpet as usual not as clean as I'd like. Matress was comfortable enough. The continental breakfast was decent, what we expected for the money. Some gluten free options for the wife. Old A/C unit unfortunately was quite loud and kept me up much of the night.

Hotel was not that clean and the beds were uncomfortable. Honestly, you get what you pay for. Continental breakfast was as standard as it gets. Nothing fancy. Staff were also not that welcoming, just dull and showed no personality what so ever.
