The clerk on staff was so put out by having to stand up and greet me. This property has gone down hill. We were give 2 rooms on the third floor. We get off the elevator and to the left the entire hall is under construction. We are immediately hit with the strong smell of marijauna in the hall. We are all tired from driving for 11 hours so we stay. The rooms were at least clean. The television is so cheap it looks like a low end computer monitor inside a case. When we get up in the morning we figure lets bring some stuff downstairs to the car. Then get a quick bite to eat at the breakfast bar. So down we go with trip one. Back to the elevator we go to get the rest of our stuff. Nope... there is no elevator call button!!! What was there the night before is now just a hole in the wall.... up the stairs we go get the rest of iur stuff and leave. Country Inn & Suites in Carlisle PA is a hard pass!!! PS: The mattresses strewn around the parking lot by the dumpster should have been a hard tell.

I’d never stay here again. It’s about 10 feet from the highway so you hear trucks ALL NIGHT LONG (even with a noise machine). The night staff who checked us in was very nice but the morning woman working the desk was grouchy and unfriendly. There was hair on our towels (long black hairs so definitely not ours) and our toilet was broken/ran all night but also somehow wouldn’t flush.
