We stayed in a clean and somewhat recently updated room with a good tv and comfy beds. Our room was clean and the fridge worked well. Lots of towels. The pool was very clean and the pool area was nice to sit at with a nice set of table/chairs. The hallways were smelly and dirty. The hallway carpets were disgusting. The room had no carpet which was great. The room smelled somewhat smoky, so we got lucky, really because once you left the room the place was smokey and stinky. Door to access the hotel didn't/couldn't lock, so anyone could have came in. We stayed for 1 night (concert at The Exposition Centre) so we only spent about 6 hours total in the hotel. Basically just slept there. Would I stay again is the question: yes with a bunch of guys on a bike trip or going to a concert. It's cheap but dirty, and I would feel unsafe if I was a female or if I wasn't 6'5 and 225 pounds

It was very dirty. Bugs. Smelly like pee n vomit! The refrigerator smelled like poop I mean literal poop. We couldn’t even stay the last night bc it was so disgusting.

Staff at check in were friendly and helpful. When entering our room (which was non-smoking), the room smelled of smoke, presumably from outdoors. In the middle of the night we had bugs in our room. When we mentioned to the front desk the next morning, the only offer was to clean the room as the hotel was completely booked for the weekend. No issues the 2nd night of our stay. The stay was definitely not worth what we had ended up paying to stay there, but there were very limited options. Would be a decent place to stay with a major renovation.

From the response of the people that run the property about others blocking tge walkway I decided to try another stay here. Seems like they just responded for the sake of responding. Here it is again, I cone out the door to the walkway of tge parking lot and 2 people sitting in the walkway smoking don’t even turn around to look or even move to show courtesy to who’s comingbouf the door and just sit there blocking the walkway lke it’s sone project apartments where no one has manners or common courtesy.

Checking in was easy was given room on 2nd floor. Dropped bags off checked out room very dirty not a huge concern bedding was clean and came back to room at 1130 pm found the bathroom and entey door area with about 40ish roaches. Immediately went to front desk they offered to change rooms but i declined because the amount of bugs seen made me belive the whole property would have them. This hotel is not an over night type place seems to be where low income people live and seemed to be many drug addicts based on the smell and other items seen in the hallway

The pictured room and area of the hotel must have been 20 years old or so. The grounds and room was not as shown. The bathroom had no grab bars, we are in our 80's and not very steady on our feet. Checked with hotel clerk and was informed they didn't have a room with them. The room was exceptional dirty and dated. I inquired about the free room straightening service and was told that I had to be there when it would be done. We had to be in Maryland Truma center with our daughter who had a brain tumor proceedure and just couldn't be there at a time that suited them. Wasn't done and my wife refused to use the shower. All in all, we couldn't remain at the Inn at York. We had to find other accommodations in the area and had to cancel our reservations. They charged me $150,00 to do it. I feel that was very unjust because even in the hotel description it stated if you cancel the reservations after sign in time that you only lose one additional night charge and then they charge me an additional $150! Would not recommend the Inn in York to my friends!!

Housekeeping stole $500 out of my backpack while I was gone & then denied it & tried to have my car towed!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Seedy motel & people & families living there full time! Dark & not safe. Lots of street people walking around the grounds! NOT SAFE!!!!
