The place was disgusting. We had them switch us to a new room because the first had a sickly aroma of multiple chemicals no doubt attempting to cover the moldy smell of the room. The tile floors were so sticky you could hear your shoes lift off them. No surface was free of water rings, dust, grime, etc. The room hadn't seen a vacuum in who knows how long. The worst was the hallways between rooms. Dirty stained carpets...again, not sure the last time they were vacuumed. The jetted tub had scum rings and looked untouched in a while. The hot tub filled with scummy foam as soon as the jets were turned on. Avoid this place at all costs. Had our reservation been refundable we would have ran out of there. Oh, almost forgot the mouse droppings on the corner of the 2nd room we were given after the retched 1st attempt. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone I hated.

Do Not Recommend ... OLD hotel

I usually trust that a Holiday Inn Express will be standard in its condition. I didn't pay enough attention to the ratings ... they indicated otherwise. This hotel was in very poor condition..... it wasn't terrible BUT it stood at the front door of terrible. It was old, not maintained (paint peeling everywhere) and overall in sad condition. it felt like a very cheap, cheap hotel.

Booked a hot tub suite for one night. Overall, the room was pretty good. Linens and floors were clean. Bathroom was a little dirty, as was the fridge. The hot tub in our room was NASTY, you could see the ring of dirt around it before you turned it on. Jets didnt work, and it wasn’t all that hot. Had to send my husband out for bleach to clean it, and there’s not many stores close by that were open. We were disappointed it was more of a big, warm bath than it was hot tub. Didn’t have any breakfast. Lady at desk couldnt be bothered to get off the phone (personal call on cell) long enough to even check me in, very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The night guy seemed nice.

10/10 loved this hotel!

The front desk employees were super friendly and helpful! They even upgraded me with no charge when asked. I would definitely come back to this hotel. The pool was a bit chilly but tolerable and the hot tub was wonderful. The free breakfast had so many options and was very inclusive of all diet restrictions.

At some point, this was a nice hotel. But, that season has passed. Currently, the carpets are very dirty. The beds were clean, or I would have asked for another room even though we came in late. The countertops had spots from previous occupants. Cup rings, fingerprints, and even though beds seemed to be changed, surface areas were not clean. There is Dove shampoo and conditioner in the tubs, but they've been filled with some other soap because that wasn't Dove. Breakfast was okay, but it still lacked the usual Holiday Inn cleanliness. Trash cans were overflowing. Got a nice little surprise when my friend turned on the hair dryer and fire came out of it. Thanks for the memories, Carlisle. Still, not worth the price, and I won't do that again! Note: Our room was spacious. It had a table, desk area, and a couch. It was made to be a nice place.

The staff was extremely nice. Had the opportunity to meet the owner after breakfast. Very kind and engaged with guests. Came into the pool area and talked the kids to get their opinion on the temp of the pool. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff was very nice. But the room was pretty dirty and needed some attention. The floor by the HVAC was wet. The drain was broken. The pool was ok but the hot tub was dirty. It was good enough to stay for a quick stay but I wouldn't recommend any longer.
