Overall good for families, just musty smelling

Pros:great breakfast options, even sprinkles for waffles. There was a waffle batter mess that 4 staff jumped to clean up immediately which was great to see. Nice towels, bed, fridge, and dove shampoo. Lots of families. Con’s: musty smell throughout the building, pool was cold and probably always is.

Water was like warm at best. Bathroom door was warped and wouldn’t close. Bathroom fan didn’t work and walls were dripping. Areas of bathroom appeared moldy at caulk lines.

Although the beds were comfortable enough, the staff at front desk were nice and the lobby was fine (not spectacular) everything else was not. We secured three rooms for this stay and we were disappointed in each room. The wallpaper was coming off the walls in all three rooms and they used staples, yes staples up and down the wall to hold up the wallpaper. There was mold in the bathtub in my daughter and her young families bathroom. The wall mirror in our room was missing but the bracket to hold it up was still there. There was an odor in our rooms. Their policy was no room cleaning if you stay for two nights which we did but we were not told ahead of time. The area this hotel serves I would guess is Hershey Park which routinely has one, two to three night stays. When we came home from the park late that night looking forward to a nice hot shower there were no towels. Thankfully front desk gave us more. There was marks on the tile in the bathroom, there was water stains on the door frame in the bathroom etc. This is just a way to provide cheap service to people who pay almost $170/night for each room. We were very disappointed and will definitely not stay at this hotel again. I'm very surprised as this is a Wyndham hotel which typically has a good reputation. Shame on you for not taking care of your property.

Positive: Staff was friendly and kind, comfy pillows, AC worked well, fridge was big and useful; Appreciated the Dove soaps. Negatives: It felt very dilapidated and uncared for - the floors felt strange and everything was very damp (like had flooded or something); The peeling wall paper was stapled; Had an odor to the room (and a cheap air freshener to cover it up); It was very dark and not at all like the pictures); Felt like a cheaper motel and not worth the cost

This hotel is in a great location if visiting Hershey attractions. We were only about 10 minutes from the park and downtown. The room was clean and comfortable, but the property could be cleaner. The carpets have a lot of stains and the pool area appears rundown because the hot tub is out of order. Breakfast was great all 3 mornings.
