Convenient to JMU for orientation. We were able to walk out of the garage and into the student success center. We were able to leave our vehicle in the garage. Staff was very helpful. Nice room. Only thing i saw was the lock on the bathroom door was broken.

The hotel was a bit difficult to park at. You have to get a room key in order to park-so glad we used the turn around and learned that. The lobby is beautiful, and very upscale. The hotel room was a bit worn, but very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

We frequent the Madison. The staff is generally very nice and accommodating. The hotel is under resteraunt renovation so there is no food or drink at this time. The per floor well could use a good clean and the beds are getting to the point they need an upgrade. We will stay there again but would love to see the rooms and carpet refreshed.

This is our second time at this hotel. It is one of our favorite stops for our road trip. The hotel is so clean and the staff is ALWAYS amazing. We love the restaurant and atmosphere. The walk into town is about 10 min. We really enjoy the feel of this beautiful town. It will always be our stop when doing a road trip on the east

The hotel was beautiful and clean! But i had high expectations going into it. First we had to pay for parking, no breakfast with stay, the bed and pillow were not comfortable at all and our remote didn’t work so we could not use the tv. All those things together made me not want to choose this hotel again.

Check-in was too rushed and too much information given in one sentence. Young gentleman (clerk) who rattled off all this information clearly has no experience dealing with elderly people who need more time to process information.
