The property is showing its age and is reflected in the rooms for example VERY NOISY floorboards when people move around rooms buffet breakfast had good selection but sadly was barely warm dining room staff and reception were great rooms cleaned daily to a great standard bed was comfortable parking can be an issue as small number of spaces.

The room was enormous lots of space to relax. The Breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of choice. Room was nice and warm. Very close to the amenities so that walking around was enjoyable

Our overall stay was excellent, beautiful place, hotel was in a great location and was exceptional, staff were professional and always available to help and very pleasant. A most pleasurable stay, would highly recommend.

Get out of the 3rd floor lift and you'll think you're in a Britannia hotel, it all looks very shabby. Loads of damaged or missing plaster, paint all over sockets, just not very appealing. The room was dated with the double bed pushed up against a wall with a fixed bedside table next to it, so the bed couldn't be moved even though there was space, so there was nowhere for one person to put anything next to the bed, and you have to climb down the length of the bed to get out. No plug sockets on the same side of the room as the bed. Terrible night sleep due to the really poor sound insulation meaning you could hear everything from the room nextdoor. The floorboards outside the room creak very loudly when anyone walked by the door.

We have come back to the Crown as it is in a convenient position. We had a good sized room with a big bathroom. Breakfast was good and the staff were efficient.

Lovely place right in the heart of Harrogate well worth a visit great place to stay if your doing the emmerdale tour as Harewood house is 20 min drive to pick up place.
