The property is clearly family owned, while we were lenient with slow service and are patient considering their staff, there were times where no one was present at the front desk because they were at Walmart? My pillows were dirty with hair and stains, plus the lamp was dirty, and there was an unpleasant odor at all times. All problems aside, the area around the establishment was great—extremely walkable, great dining places, and various close distance shopping facilities.

Very disorganized at the front desk. People were in town to see a concert and the front desk clerk attempted to deny someone their room over no valid reason. The iron was old and made a mark on my shirt! Definitely go somewhere.

Worst Comfort Inn

The experience we had with the Comfort Inn - Wethersfield, Hartford was far from even being average! The first bad experience occurred when we tried to call and confirm that we would be arriving late. Called 7x with no answer! Then, room and furnishings(including bathroom) were far from comfortable and caused us to sleep on comforter vs within sheets. Will never stay again there; nor at any Comfort Inn based on this experience!!

Stayed on the 3rd floor and the Elevator was broken as well as my room door lock, took me a few minutes to enter the room. Even when I asked for assistance, took the gentleman a ling while as well even when he used the original key to try and open the door. Also, asked house-keeping for 2 trash bags and I stood there waiting on them and did not recieved them. Otherwise, the convenience of the property is ok. Check in was ok as well as checking out.

This was the freezer section of the refrigerator. I am sure this has not been cleaned in a while.
There was 2 drops of blood on my comforter I took that off the bed completely then checked the rest of the linens

Sheets had stains on them. There was hair in the bathroom curtain. The outside environment was very trashy very nasty. I’ve stayed here many times before but since there’s new owners, it’s not the same. The breakfast isn’t even the same. Something needs to get done with the pool housekeepers are very rude

Won't stay here again.

The stairwell smelled as though it had been used as a toilet and hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time. Room carpet worn, had holes and needed cleaned. Lamp shades dented. Toilet didn't flush properly. No washrags in room and only 2 bath towels. Furniture scratched, chipped and dented. Housekeeping staff apparently does not understand English. Breakfast was good and plenty of food offered. Desk clerks were friendly.

Lawns weren't mowed was the first tip off. Generally very dirty. Room didn't smell good. Could smell marijuana in the hall. Freezer in the refrigerator was coated with ice/frost so couldn't put ice blocks in it. Got a bucket for ice from front desk. Had to go back to front desk for soap and bath towels and TOILET PAPER. front desk person tried to be helpful.

Trash all over the exterior, interior floors grungy. Breakfast chintzy; no orange juice or apple juice, but lemon juice. Really? Lemon juice for breakfast? Housekeeping does not check the room to empty trash or make sure toilet tissue is good. Poorly maintained on general
