The hotel was fine, basic. However, they charge $7 per day to park a car. There is nothing in the area, it’s not crowded, just an annoying upcharge.

The property is misrepresented in descriptions saying it has a restaurant. A bar with very limited hours and a bartender who serves microwaved and cold snacks as well as drinks is not a restaurant. And the bar was closed for one of our two nights for a “baby shower” party. The pool and gym were well equipped and nicely kept. The staff was mostly nice but clueless about events on the premises and amenities in the area. Our room was clean but depressingly bare: faux wood floors with no floor or wall coverings and a large expanse of empty space. The lighting was sparse and there were not enough electric outlets. No outlet on my side of the bed and so could not keep my phone in reach and charge it overnight. Finally, the property should advertise that it is dog friendly to warn off those who are not comfortable sharing a hotel with strange dogs. There were dogs everywhere and the lawns of the property was pockmarked with dog poop.

We enjoyed access to the pool area and it was close to Six Flags. It was a stop gap on a road trip. The staff are nice and the hotel is clean. However, I was shocked at the amount of waste that is produced from the single use plastic cutlery and throw away plates and cups at breakfast. Pity they don’t use crockery and use a dishwasher. I’m sure I also paid more money for a top floor with more room but we got given the 4th floor. When I asked about this to staff they told me all rooms cost the same and to be fair, she did ask if I wanted to move but because I’d already put all my stuff and families cases into that room I didn’t ask to be moved. But still think I’d paid extra for a room I didn’t get. That said, It was a lovely hotel in a nice area.

Nice hotel, sadly we were only there a short time and only for one night so didn’t really get to enjoy all the facilities however as our 4th hotel of the trip was certainly up to scratch.

Good standard for the price

We stay here 2-3 times a year. It’s a reasonable standard and convenient for us. The rooms don’t have very good maintenance but they fix anything that is reported.
