Everything was good about our stay (1 night). I would ask, is it normal to not have a fan in the bathroom in Connecticut hotels? Lots of condensation during the shower and it soaked everything. Other than that its was a nice stay and the staff was very nice

Make sure to tell them you're pre-paid first!
Hotel was as expected for this brand, for the second time and as many trips using Hotels.com to book I paid in advance and then was also charged again full price when I arrived resulting in a debit to my card that took days for my bank to remove. Additionally I was charged for incidentals. This is not acceptable to me and I'm not sure what is happening that it has occurred to me twice. But the hotel was a little confused by the whole process of trying to reverse it and it wound up and me having to dispute it with my credit card company. Not very happy about that, otherwise the day was as you would expect from a Hilton Garden

I'm staying here because Hyatt House across the street was sold out. The hotel staff seem very relaxed here. Not rude, but also not that professional. The hotel needs MAJOR updates. The hotel overall appears to be unclean. Many stains on the carpet, water marks on ceilings, dead bugs in room light fixtures and that's just the beginning. I didn't know if the room was actually clean, so I brought cleaner and microban disinfectant spray. The room had an odd odor when I opened the door. The furniture is old and peeling. The fridge door is broken along with the freezer. The bathroom WAS NOT CLEAN AT ALL. The tub had a dirt ring and a sticker on the bottom. The part where you turn the water on was hanging off the wall. The knob was VERY loose. I was worried if was going to fall off whike i was cleaning it and when i turned on the water. You could see strange dirt shadows on the shower walls. The baskets to hold your shower toiletries is barely connected to the shower and rusted. The mirrors in the room were also dirty and I had to clean them. There's hardly any storage for you to put your clothes away, but after I stepped into the room, I decided it was probably for the best that I don't do that anyway. The microwave appeared clean, but I still cleaned it myself to be sure. The room is extremely dim. There's one main light by the door which is the brightest. There's 2 lamps that are very dim by the bedside (one has holes in the shade) and 1 dim lamp on the desk by the TV. The beds
