I like trains so the proximity to the station was welcome. The parks at the capitol are beautiful but there were a lot of homeless and police. The city needs a better homeless program. The underground parking felt safe but felt like driving in a basement. I heard later guests couldn't get garage parking because it was first come first serve. Unfortunate to have to use a vendor parking. The building is well maintained but is showing it's age. The tub is so dated and the drain didn't lock into place. The locks I used either worked in unusual ways, like turning up, or didn't work at all at the fitness center. I told the desk and they got it open and propped it until it could be fixed. The staff was nice and helpfull.

The hotel is very well located. Its very easy to park. The breakfast is fine. The staff is lovely. The place is outdated but clean. It's not the kind of room you want to hang out in but it's absolutely fine to sleep. It's safe and clean !

That was the worst stay I have ever had. The bed was extremely hard - come to find out the mattress was flipped and we were sleeping on the hard-no fabric side. Stains (blood?) everywhere - lamp, towels, mold in the shower (pictures included). Told the front desk about the fact that our neighbors were either fighting or partying till 4 am and they did absolutely nothing. Will make it known to anyone traveling to Hartford CT - stay far, far away from this place.
