We needed an overnight stay for a wedding. The check in was easy, the room extremely clean. We only stayed the one night but the beds were comfortable. The tv worked fine and check out was easy least. I would definitely stay here again

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and at least they had breakfast included. Parking was very limited in their small underground parking garage where they allow you to park for a fee, but was fairly secure. Parking is an issue in the entire downtown area (of course), so if you can, you should try to walk whenever possible or you will pay a lot for parking. It's in a decent location where downtown areas are accessible for the price, but the place is old and needs a lot of work. Pipes are so load, every time the other guest flush they would wake me up. I'm sure I did the same thing others on the floor below me. That kinda sucked.

There was hair in the sink, in the shower, and on the towels. The radiator was broken, dusty and moldy. The room was hot, and I could not open the windows. The entire 4th floor smelled like a bad air freshener that was trying to cover up years of cigarette smoke smell. Overall I would not recommend.

Beware, the parking lot behind the hotel is not well marked and I got an $88 ticket. Look carefully at the small signs and double check with staff about where to park! The hotel itself was lovely and clean, and being right across the street from Bushnell Park was great for taking my dog out.

While the hotel is clean, there were issues. The garage is awkward - one way in, and one way out. Getting in and out of that garage is tight, and is not very conducive for any vehicle bigger than a small SUV. Yet there is a huge parking lot behind the hotel. The room door had issues, but latching and then just using the card key. The shower filled up with water on that first day, but when I addressed it, maintenance did take care of it, and the door latching issue, but no the card key issue. The hotel is near the main train station, and the trains run well into the night, where you can hear their whistles. Now the view was absolutely amazing! The park and the Capitol Building were grand. The staff was very responsive and pleasant.
