Although the cabins are in need of a little touch up, it was still a very comfortable & cozy place which suited our needs for a quick stopover in Canmore. Friendly & attentive service too
Old facilities and Furniture, and the mattress is in bad conditions

Cute, rustic and just what I needed
I've stayed at Rundle almost everytime I'm in the area, they are older and in need of some maintenance however, they are warm, cute, rustic and are self contained with honestly what you'll need for basics! I usually bring my own pillows & blanket just because we'll that's just me but bed was decent, had a stove, microwave and refrigerator. Big bonus is they are also pet friendly which is important because we always bring ours with us! The staff are always really nice as well! Can't beat the price either!
Very poor try to paint and renovate
Large homes between the tiles and the kitchen cabinets were a joke
Checkin and checkout was seamless and very quiet
The cabin I was in was very old, very tired and deserves to be torn down and rebuilt. The shower was something out of the 60s. The bathroom was tiny and old. The heat was via an extremely old-fashioned gas furnace. The furnishings were antique in nature. The door didn't seem all that secure. Adjacent cabins had orange tarps covering the grooves which didn't speak well about the waterproofness of the very old shingles. The windows were reminiscent of something one would find in a cabin built in the 1950s and never renovated. My advice would be to steer clear of this property. There appear to be some newer and better appointed cabins on the property but the fact that one of the first things you see upon checking in is a sign stating, "NO REFUNDS." I can see why they would say that since I was not at all pleased. The only redeeming feature was that the mountains are awesome.
Cute little cabin, but you get what you pay for.
If you are coming here and planning on cooking, make sure you bring cooking utensils that you absolutely need because not everything was there (no oven mits, etc.)
It shows BBQs in pictures, but I didn't see anything available.
The biggest thing that we had to deal with was before we came to the property. Something was wrong with my card and so they were almost immediately threatening to cancel our reservation (and they were super rude about it). Once we got to the property and paid, everything was fine and we never really spoke to the property owners again.
Amazing view from the property, easy on and off hwy 1, comfortable bed, cozy cabin, reasonably priced for the area, a bit worn in places, but absolutely fine for a 4 night stay in a fantastic area.
This place is an absolute fabulous Place to stay, whether traveling alone or with family. Especially if you want the mountain cabin feel with all the amenities. I can’t wait to stay here again when I travel back to the Banff area :)
