If I could give this zero stars I would. The buildings are run down and in desperate need of paint. The property is littered with old vehicles and junk. Cats are chasing squirrels. The cabin we stayed at was clean but in dilapidated. During the night the bed frame collapsed on one side. The bedroom is so small that the only way to get into bed is slide sideways down the wall or crawl in from the foot of the bed. Thankfully, it was only one night!
Very old and very rundown. Outside area unkempt. Realize Canmore in summer is pricey, but for over 400 a night something this old and rundown is not great. Pillows like thin cement boards. Would not return

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Clean, easy check in with friendly staff. Expensive for the condition of the cabin.
Clean, cozy, rustic cabin. Bed very comfy. Had everything needed to meal prep. Even fire pit to relax by. Very enjoyable. 5 minutes from Canmore and next to Banff. Lovely setting.

Rustic Comfortable Cabin living
Stayed in a cottage so no noise issues. The cottage had a skylight, kitchen, couch, wood stove and good WiFi. It is rustic looks 1960s old wood inside with exposed beams. A few minor issues nothing major.
Our original reservation at a different establishment was cancelled 3 days before our stay. Rundle Chalet would not have been our choice but at last minute, it was what we could find. Clean but old and worn. Would not stay again.
Very cozy 1 bedroom #40, clean and the bed was comfortable. Only down fall was the bathroom was waaaaay too small. Literally no room to move around and they really need to replace the sofa.
This was the first time we choose to stay in Chalet. Space was small, but good enough to enjoy with comfort. Not of a walking distance to downtown Canmore but worth the experience
The cabin was fine for what it was. The mattress was old and very uncomfortable, the sheets had some brown stains that didn’t look great and it didn’t feel like anything had been updated in decades. The shower did not look overly clean and we avoided using it. Overall, the price was significantly high for what the cabin was and for the beginning of tourist season. I would not recommend and find it confusing that so many of the reviews are so positive and glowing as it does not match the experience we had.
Cabin was ok. Last day no hot water or heating in our cabin. But staff is very good. And they didn't charge for last day.

Quiet, in a little wooded area. The cabins could use some work, but suited our purposes! It would be nice if there were a blow dryer and maybe an iron(if they were there, I didn’t see them). Convenient location for Canmore and Banff! Also- a friendly dog and kitty cats!!!
