I agree with all the other reviewers. However, what I loathed was, on some mornings, a female would have a loud conversation with the member of staff in the security cabin at the front of the hotel. This was at 5am.

Hello from Canada! Stayed at Coconut Court Jan 27-Feb 10, 2025. This should be a 5 Star resort, I think the only reason it does not have this rating is because there is no elevator. All other amenities were 5 Stars. Owners are all super nice and visible. Staff are all lovely and very personable. Cleanliness is excellent. So close to many amenities, and if not you either jump on a bus or grab a cab. We would definitely go back to this resort. Thank you Coconut Court for taking good care of us while there, we had a great time on our first visit to Barbados.

Go for the beach and the ocean front rooms

Perfect beach with protection of a reef. Not much chance of rip tides. Several large sea grape trees supplying lots of shade on the beach. Great pool. Rooms are all ocean front and well maintained. Property is clean

Great Place on the Beach

This property is on the beach. We were on the ground floor and could walk out our beach-side door to the pool deck, then down a few steps to the beach level. Both levels have a bar. Service at the beach was available and the restaurant was very good. The water was very clean and mostly protected by an offshore reef. The hotel is on a road serviced by a strange but efficient bus service utilizing 16-passenger vans. We rode them into town and down the shore to many excellent restaurants.

Very lovely hotel. Staff was wonderful and owners very personable and helpful. Our room was lovely and cleaned each day and towels plentiful. The food and beverages were great. Highly recommend. One drawback is there are many stairs to get down to restaurants, pool and beach for those with poor health.

Nice hotel in great location

Nice hotel where we have stayed a number of times. Lovely location on the beach. Nice pool and pool area. The rooms are comfortable and offer basic food prep facilities. Fridge freezer and microwave are handy but need more crockery and larger bowls plus dish cleaning cloths. Minor quibble but would be good.

We arrived on Tuesday and checked out on Sunday and learned the following: NO HOT WATER IN OUR ROOM the entire stay - 6 days!!! EVERY DAY we contacted the Manager and they PROMISED EVERY DAY that the problem was being addressed - STILL NO HOT WATER even on the day we left. DAMN FRUSTRATING!! NO ELEVATORS in the hotel so lots of steps both up to the room and down to the pool/beach area. THEY CHARGE FOR POOL TOWELS - $3.00 per towel!!! CRAZY!! BARBADOS TRAVELERS: Apparently the 'New Generation' does not want to wait on tourists and it is quite clear when you are dining, pumping gas, getting directions ECT! Sounds like the Government has started a program called NICE to counter balance the negativity. It was very clear if you were wanted on the island or not . . .also had some EXCELLENT people that explained the concerns to us and were WONDERFUL!! Beautiful Island but heavily populated. Thank you for the visit . . . . so many other places in the World that enjoy the tourists and have HOT WATER!! I would LOVE to hear from a Manager at Expedia please.

Fantastic stay, we came for a 60th birthday. The hotel was incredible and the team extremely accommodating. Rooms were comfy and clean, with everything you could need. Beach lovely, food great pool area nice.

Nice Personal Feel

My stay was great but I did have 2 minor issues. Check in is at 4 pm but my room wasnt ready until 4:40 pm. I had been up traveling from the U.S. and expected my room to be ready and was frustrated that it wasnt. It wasnt just my room that wasnt ready. There were at least 5 other people waiting on their rooms as well. The staff was friendly and informative but it didnt make it better. I was tired and ready to shower and relax. One thing I must say is that the hotel gets applauds for making up for me having to wait at check in. I ended up needing to have a late check out and was accomadated without question. Thank you! The only other issue I had was the bed was pretty tough and I could feel actual springs moving in the mattress when I rolled over. Im 5-7, weigh 170 lbs and was a solo traveler. The bed surely wont survive a rodeo romance and may need to be replaced. Other than that, the food was great, the location was amazing, the activities and karaoke were on point, the staff was superb and the beach view was pleasing. Everyday I woke up to the gorgeous sunrise, beautiful sand and blue water made it harder for me to come back home. I also enjoyed the personal feel of this hotel unlike some bigger chains. The personal vibe resonated well with me. Overall, Coconut Court Beach Hotel was a great place to stay.

We arrived around 1:00 in the morning and when we got to our room it was hot and humid and the AC was blowing more hot air into the room. I went to the front desk and it took about 30 minutes for them to sort out giving us a different room. No one helped us with our bags when we had to make the move. The property is very dated and the floors are sandy. We requested a late check out and were told that there would be an additional cost even though we didn't get our room until 2:00 a.m.
