Great Family Base for Bryce Canyon National Park!
The Lookout was a fantastic base for exploring the area. My wife, our five year old son, and I all loved using the house as a place to explore Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon. After great days at the parks, it was fantastic to come back to The Lookout and make a fire outside, then cook a dinner in the nice kitchen. The design and architecture of the home were fantastic as you could tell the detail from its prior days as a welding shop. Further, Jean was quick to reach out and respond via e-mail. I would highly recommend a family adventure at The Lookout!
This home has everything you need for a vacation stay. We used it as a home base for Bryce Canyon. Used the wood camp grill and the full kitchen. Ceiling fans would be nice in the bedrooms and loft to cool off before the cool night air moves in. Otherwise the home (no AC) stays cool in the main level. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Views!
We enjoyed our stay at the Lookout and it's about 25 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. The only part that would have made it a better experience would have been an easier path to the river (no trail). The house is beautiful inside and well decorated!

Beautiful large home. Remote, but a good central location if you want to see a variety of national parks.
My 4 friends and I all agreed that “The Lookout” was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It sits between Dixie National Forest and Bryce Canyon National Park. Easy access to both parks as well as local restaurants and coffee shops.
The house was everything we wanted – clean, comfortable, and cozy. The high ceilings let in a lot of light during the day and the in the evening, the moon lit stars can be seen from every room. The 5 of us enjoyed the spacious surroundings and house comforts: refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer / dryer. There were 2 big screen tvs but we never had time watch them – too busy hiking and exploring the great state of Utah. I highly recommend The Lookout.
The only thing is that the address shown in hotels.com is wrong.
However, house was beautiful!!! Every furniture has antique delicate style and the house was super clean!!! All of our family memebers loved staying here. It also has an amazing view right in the dining room.
Welcome kits, guide booklet, cute little gifts and amazing service from host, I can go on and on. I saw this house on other website too and it had 5 stars. I understand why. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would.
