The hotel was fine except for one cockroach in the bathroom 😩. The check-in process was a mess! Evidently, Expedia had not communicated to Best Western that they had already withdrawn payment for my 3-night stay. When I was asked to present the credit card that the room had been booked with it was scanned by the clerk several times and rejected each time. The reason for this was because there was not sufficient funds remaining on my Master Card gift card. It took a call to MC to identify that the payment had already been withdrawn leaving only a small amount on the card. It took several phone calls by both the desk manager and me to clear this situation up. It was time consuming and embarrassing and should not have happened!

I like two of the staff members. We had to wait awhile before the room was ready but the pool was nice. They were redoing the place so it was okay. It was quiet and convenient to stores and eating places. Overall we still had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

Our whole room was damp the bedding the carpet it smelled like mildew. We had two reservations when we got there. They said there was no rooms. And then they gave us a key and there was a man in our room. Apparently they put him in the wrong room.

Room was clean and ok. They were remodeling the lobby so there was dust everywhere. Pool was green the whole time. I would tell the front desk each day! They said someone was coming out to shock it. It was still green when we checked out 3 days later! Breakfast was decent.

I smelled a musty odor in our room, which can indicate mold, even if you can’t see it. The top panel of the a/c unit is missing- looks bad and smells musty. The a/c unit cools well though! Mattress was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

Large group of kids staying there and very loud. There were buses in the parking lot and instead of parking them in the back of the lot they were taking up too many spaces close to the hotel. They should have been told they could not park there and needed to park towards the back.
