Bought lesson.
Checking in was decent. The lady was nice but told me too much personal information about herself and had no idea about questions I had about services. The sink leaked and had no water pressure nor did the shower. The remote to the tv had no batteries. The bedding was so thin it was like using just a sheet. The breakfast what little was offered was old and out of date. The juice machines wouldn’t even work and they only had a half gallon jug for everyone to share and never offered to get more. The weekend staff were not helpful at all and seemed preoccupied with their personal lives on their cellphones. One positive note we did have side door access to our vehicle which is a plus with a handicapped child. We come to Hattiesburg once a year for Special Olympics this was the first and last time we chose Days Inn to stay at.

First room we were given, the door lock would not work. Second room shower and bathroom were dirty. Stain on bed. All the outside entrances were open to public, anyone could walk in, and several people walking hallways or hanging out in stairwell. Breakfast bar was good if you like toast and or cereal. No other options.

Thought I got a non smoking room but smoking was the only one available. They didn’t have any smoke remover spray qas told to go buy some because they had give there’s away. But the 1 thing that was frustrating was the key didn’t work . Several time the had to go get the key reprogrammed. When I first checked in then after each time. Left and came back to the room . It was at least 4 times. Having a leg injury I was frustrated having to do all the extra walking . I night manager said it may be because I had the key near my phone. Never heard of that and said you don’t know what you’re talking about. I saw him 2 nights in a row and he acted like he’s wasn’t aware I had been there before. There was another guest I encountered in the hall who had the same issue. Won’t be staying there again. I will pay the extra for a better experience. I could go on but it won’t be enough characters.

Customer service was good but my bed wasn’t made ( the sheets were bunched up and wrinkled underneath the top blanket as if somebody slept in it the night before). Pillows were not clean and had a smell to them.

We were really disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. The air in the room was stagnant and smelled slightly of mold. This wasn’t a good value for the money.

We waited for quite some time for someone to come to the front desk to check us in and that was only after one of her friends who was in the lobby tracked her down. Kissafur finally came in but couldn’t get behind the desk because she lost her keys. When we did finally get check in and headed to the room, we immediately noticed how dirty the floor was. There were brown/red smudges on the wall and mildew all around the shower caulking. The smoke detector had no batteries and the sprinkler was covered in tape. We were on the 2nd floor. It was late and we had no choice but to stay but will not be back. Do better! The ratings were very misleading.
