I stayed here twice, one week apart, in the middle of March 2025. I primarily chose this hotel due to it having a pool and hottub. First, the good: The room itself was clean, the bed comfortable, and I slept well. Now, the bad: Both times I was there, the beverage cooler in their mini-store in the lobby was not working. They had NO cold drinks. The bar / restaurant was never opened while I was there, except for the breakfast bar in the morning. The second time I was there, a week later, they had turned the heat off on the hottub because some Karen had complained it was "too hot". The hottub was as cold as the pool. They didn't turn it down a little...no, they turned it OFF. And when I complained, was told there was nothing they could do. Heat is the entire point of a hottub. Also, the hallways were not cleaned well, as I constantly saw tiny bits of trash that could have been vacuumed up, but never were. I stayed on both the 2nd and 3rd floor, and both were the same. I was not impressed. I will choose elsewhere next time I am staying in town.

I called the property prior to booking to make sure the pool and hot tub were clean and warm enough for a baby. They are NOT. There were 3 other family's with children all waiting, hoping it would be addressed as well.. Despite all of our complaints nothing was done. I'm addition to that the front desk was rude at check in and unapologetic. Very disappointed

This property was clean and newly painted. But issues beneath the painted area was peeling and chipping away. The coolers for the “restaurant” were broken.

I booked this hotel solely for the indoor pool and hot tub. I took my 2 kids on an overnight stay to swim. The pool and hot tub were cold. I notified the front desk and was told the maintenance guy was not there that day and would be back tomorrow.

Not Recommended Hilton Garden Inn

Hilton Garden Inn in Hattiesburg is the most unsanitary hotel I've ever stayed in! The room that my family shared was not cleaned prior to our stay to the point that we were unable to take showers because the shower looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the floors were dirty, there even was dirt and water damage on the ceilings and walls. The phones don't work due to the hotel is undergoing renovations, in which after my stay I was told the fourth floor is fully renovated but my family was placed on a floor that isn't. The ice maker didn't work and neither did a heating unit in one of our rooms which we had to use one unit to try to heat up the suite we stayed in. I would not recommend staying at this property or to utilize this property if ever staying in Hattiesburg Mississippi. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST property I have ever stayed at! The hotel claims that the fourth floor is renovated but place guests in non renovated rooms
