The first room I was assigned to smelled like margiuana. The second room the bathroom was not clean and the bed had fleas or bed bugs. I was bit all night. Not impressed at all. The room itself was nice and the check in person was pleasant, but they need serious help on cleaning.

Check in was a breeze, beds were comfy, but the shower still had hair from the previous people which it itself is disgusting. Not only that though there was left over food in the fridge from the previous people.

The front desk girl who was there was so sweet to me and my dog. I think she said her name was Stephanie or Destiny. She was just so nice and called to check up on me after I checked in. Made my night amazing. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone passing through. Breakfast was also great and housekeeping did a fantastic job with my room. They left it spotless.

Let me start by saying I will never stay at this property ever again! I'm not even the type of person to leave reviews but in this case, I had to. Soon as I got off the elevator into my floor, it smelled like a mixture of trash and cigarettes. The room itself was not clean, especially the bathroom. And to top everything off, it was so noisy! The individuals above us stomped so loud all throughout the night and individuals in the hallway held loud conversations early in the morning. I will attach pictures if possible.

Dirty room

I will start with the pros. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. The food at breakfast was decent. The staff friendly. The cons. The room was dirty, the floor was not vacuumed, there was small pieces of trash on the floor. The room was dusty. The most disgusting part is the toliet seat had body fluid on it. It looked like dried up peroid blood. I always bring lysol wipes and spray. So I wiped down the room and cleaned the toilet. I sprayed the room with lysol.

We just stayed at a LaQuinta elsewhere and was disappointed. This place renewed by faith in LaQuinta. This motel is clean, classy, and comfortable. Safe area with great restaurants nearby. If looking for a place in Hattiesburg - think about this one.

It was okay….just what you’d expect for a LaQuinta. We checked out around 10:30 (could hear housekeeping in the halls and didn’t want to make them wait for us), my husband & I smelled either a skunk or weed in the hall….it was very strong.
