Excellent and large apartment - beautiful dining room.

Clean room. Everything we needed. Beds comfy. Would ask for separate shower next time. Liked that out of town but handy to restaurants. Thirsty Whale was good.

Room and building were clean, and reception staff were friendly. However, several issues let the stay down. Parking is very limited and cost an extra $15/day — not disclosed at booking. Despite paying, I once had to use a disability park as no other spaces were free. The room is advertised for 2–3 people. I booked for three adults and paid a premium for the third occupant, but this didn't include a bed. I only found out when I asked, and was told a roll-out bed was available for a further unadvertised fee. If you're charged more for an extra guest, bedding should be included. The couch wasn't a substitute — too uncomfortable to even sit on, and too small for anyone but a young child to sleep on. The room wasn't serviced during our 3-night stay. Wet towels sat on the bathroom floor for a day and a half before being removed on day two, and were never replaced. Beds weren't made or changed at all. Clean and friendly staff, but hidden fees and no servicing meant it didn't match the advertised price or standard. Worth checking parking and occupancy costs directly with the property before booking.

Owner Gordon was delightful and informative. Loved having a room that you can open the windows for fresh air. The room was very clean. No complaints at all and very centrally located. Thanks Gordon. Joyce & David Melbourne
