An old building with modern upgrades. Large bedroom and bathroom with modern fixtures. Very comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress. Lots of power outlets in the room. The only downside is that the local church, which is right next door, rang its bell every 15 minutes, then chimed the number of the hour every hour, all through the night! Also, at around 1am, the bell chimed about 50 times in a row with no respite. Shutting the windows reduced the sound somewhat but made the room too hot to sleep (no A/C). The church is obviously beyond the control of the hotel, but it's something potential guests should be aware of.

Excellent property off the beaten path with some of the best home brewed beer and German food I’ve ever tasted. Only issue is the wireless needed some work as guests far away from the router has issues but my room was close so never had an issue. In very small town (which I liked) but close (1 hr) from Munich airport)

This is a great break from the city stats and about 20 minutes from Regensburg. The restaurant below has delicious food and the rooms are recently renovated.

Worth a stay.
A bit off the beaten path affording considerable peace and quiet. Food and drink was very good. A large varied selection for breakfast that is included. No air conditioning as is the case with many hotels. Once a brewery, now remodeled into a very nice Gasthof. Very reasonably priced. No reason not to stay here. I would if I’m in the area again.

2nd class feeling.
We arrived about 8PM.checked into our rooms, plain, clean , no issues. Went down looking forward to a nice supper. There was a nice dining room with open tables, they put us in another room, looked like the kids room. Brightly lit. Alone! The server came over every once and a while. Food was a C-. We felt like 2nd class people. If they didn't want Americans , they should have told us at check in. They did accept our $. Staying here was a mistake on our part.

Clean hotel directions good.
