Ok for one night. Room had little lighting. There was water on the floor below the AC/Heater. Breakfast eggs were cold. Debris including an old contact lens on the ground by the bed. Large gaps in the door allowed lots of sound in from the hallway Overall just a bit run down hotel. It was not expensive, but still not worth the price paid.

Pet friendly
Even though we checked in close to midnight the front desk staff were friendly. Loved that the floors were not carpeted since it is a pet friendly place. Our pup had no issues. Breakfast was fine nothing crazy but did the job. Would recommend this hotel for pets, and as a budget friendly clean option.

Overnight Stay on Return Trip
We had a great stay here in Hays! For what we paid, it couldn’t have been better. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Right next door was a Freddies so we could conveniently get food even though it was late when we arrived.

Disappointing Breakfast
The room was nice for the price. The breakfast was described as “Buffet” and it was just a continental breakfast with limited eggs and sausage. I understand not having waste but you have to keep on asking for more when the room is full which takes more time. Disappointing. The staff was nice and helpful. Bring back the waffle maker, the pancake maker has been on the Fritz. Great idea but too many moving parts.

The hotel has been recently remodeled. They need to clean the floor a little better between the bed and night stands. The electric and computer outlets nearest the wall side of the bed did not work. The breakfast is basic and when it runs out there is NO breakfast. Get there early. We do not recommend the pancake machine. It worked for our one night passing through Hays.
