We liked that the Comfort Inn is up the street from Penn State Hazleton. We attended a sporting event and didn't want to drive back home the same night so we booked this hotel in advance. We have stayed at many Comfort Inns and we trusted that this would be a good stay too. The price is fair. Our room was ready when we arrived an hour early. The staff is friendly and made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable. The sheets has too much bleach left in them but they were clean! The storm did not knock out the electricity! The shower was hot and the water pressure was good. The other guests replied when we said good morning during breakfast. I didn't see any children. The 2 waffle irons worked well. I like fresh waffles! The coffee was mild and good, not too strong. Eggs and sausage and other continental items were also offered, The food was plentiful. The 2nd floor ice machine is broken, it gave us 2 ice cubes. We would stay again!

The staff could not have been more delightful. The hotel is currently under renovation so the trash and noise is understandable. However the truck parking lot directly behind the hotel is active all night long. No sleep is a guarantee. The rooms definitely need to be upgraded. Old carpet and old furniture and peeling wallpaper.

Staff were super nice. They are doing a decent job renovating. whoever caulked the bathroom we were in needed some glasses though. You can tell it has had a rough history prior to the renovations being started.

The staff were really nice. The room was a little dark and the window was pretty small, so it felt a little claustrophobic. The room was clean. The beds were extremely hard, so it made it a ruff night's sleep. It was quiet though which was really nice. It was good for the price.

Very nice room for the money. Very clean and comfortable and the desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Just what we needed for a one night stop over. Close to the highway and a great family restaurant just across the parking lot.
