The hotel is being renovated, but not noisy. The room was very clean, reasonably priced. Close to Jim Thorpe, where we spent a few days on the trail and in town. Hotels in Jim Thorpe are very expensive, so I was glad to see the Mahoning Inn was reasonable.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel provided good options and amenities, the room was hygienic, clean, and comfortable. The hotel owner, Mr. Bill Singh was very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The open view and peaceful surroundings made the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommended!

This is an older motel, but it's well maintained and upgrades, i.e. key cards vs metal keys, new mattresses and paint have been occurring. The bathrooms are on the small size and breakfast items are very basic, but overall a good value for the money.
