Overall the stay was pleasant. They are renovating certain parts of the building. We were placed in a room on the 2nd floor snd there’s no elevator. If someone is unable to take the stairs, make note of that so that a room on the 1st floor is provided. There is a ramp leading to the door where guest rooms are located. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly. State parks, Markets are not far. We also attended a wedding in South Carolina and it was only a 30 minute drive. The price point is fair for the quality and standard accommodations.

Had a late check-in and the manager was very accommodating and friendly. Room is nothing fancy, but clean - which was just fine. Hotel is centrally located to get to state parks and Helen for events.

The first room we had was in very bad shape. Mold everywhere, smelled like cigarettes, cigarette burns all over the floor. Not in any shape to have someone stay in. Went to the front desk and the manager moved us to a new room which was all brand new inside.

The hotel is right off of the main street and has parking in front. Check-in is old-style, on paper and done efficiently. The room, hall and exterior are clean. My only concern is the door leading into the rooms entryway, which didn't always latch. Otherwise, I would stay here again so we can explore Clinton more.
