The front desk personnel were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is at great location, you can walk to most of Helen’s attractions and restaurants. The room was cleaned and cozy for all of us. I would come back in future if I visited Helen again.

The bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice. Sticky bathroom floor. No bathtowels or washcloths readily available until I alerted front office. Called because our door would not lock and then waited on repairman to fix it. Waterspots on bedroom ceiling needs repair. Plug in fried our charging cable.

Hotel needs some TLC(broken towel holder). Floor under carpet was uneven. It looked as if one of the beds sheets had not been changed(had spot of blood on sheets). Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast had a pretty good selection. For price 2 night stay was decent.

This hotel is in terrible conditions. The outside doesn’t look that bad until you get the room. The room was extremely dirty, old, and everything was terrible. The smell is awful. The bathroom horrible. I honestly don’t recommend at all. The only convenient things is the location that is walkable to the center of the town. I think they really need to do a remodel to all these rooms and the most important things is the cleaning. I didn’t want to touch anything because it was disgusting. There have to be better ones in the area than this one. Please be careful at choosing this hotel. Hope this help. Thanks

Lovely staff at check in and handled our noise complaint without question. Apparently the kids above us thought it was WWE most of the night. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms are fine. Everything is a bit dated, but when you just came out of their Oktoberfest month you can't expect things to be perfect. No bugs or mold seen in our room. Beds comfy.

First we arrived at 2 pm instead of 4 and they wanted to charge $25 for early check in, we said no thank you. Then came back at 5 pm and the front desk attendant was not friendly (need to take hospitality training). Went to the room, and smell like mildew.the sink faucet splashed water all over you. The bar hand soap was re-used and placed back in the package but not sealed. The bathtub and walls looked dirty and the shower head was tilted toward the wall and couldn’t changed. The bath towels were small and looked nasty, they were clean but looked dirty unbleached. We were downstairs and the people above us seemed to be walking all night, we can hear the st and the wood cracking. The next day, there was not coffee for breakfast. The machine “just broke” and they didn’t have a back-up. The hotel is outdated and I can’t believe the charge $162 for that place. Pictures on internet are deceiving.

There was no coffee at breakfast. We were told housekeeping would clean our room after 3 days. The manager was difficult to find. We could not get a receipt for our stay as we checked out one day early. They did upgrade US to a suite but the tub was unsteady and we had to find a housekeeper in another area to replenish our room coffee.

We booked a room with a hot tub, was given a room with our a hottub, then got the right room. The ceiling was cracked, the hot tub jets didn't work , the fire place didn't work, windows were hard to open, balcony door was very hard to open. Shower door was very small and hard to open and close. No fresh towels or house keeping. The toilet kept running and wouldn't stop, the AC/heat unit was leaking into the floor and would stay on very long at a time.

This isn’t the worst place I’ve stayed at but I feel like I paid too much for what it was. It’s a little run down but fairly clean. Their attempt to update (on a budget apparently) was to paint the shower stall, the jacuzzi and even inside of the toilet bowl. This is just one of those places that obviously cuts corners to their detriment. I might make it back to Helen one day but if I do I’ll stay somewhere else.

In definite need of room repairs, TV wouldn’t shut off and couldn’t change volume…had to unplug it to sleep…floor was uneven under the carpet, there was like a small ledge under there and I almost sprained my ankle on it multiple times. Chair in room would have fallen apart if I had not checked it before sitting down don’t know what is actually holding it together. Touch up paint on the walls was a different color than the wall actually was. The bed was comfortable, thats really the only positive here.

Very poor condition. Paint peeling on building & outside room doors. Bath sink draining very slowly (15-20 min to empty) Fireplace in room does not work. Shower curtain with mold on bottom. Breakfast was pitiful. All prepackaged food that was poor quality. This was the worst place we have ever stayed in!

This was probably the most disgusting room I’ve ever been in. Mold on the ceiling, urine stains on the bed sheets, an inch gap under half of the broken door, bathtub completely unusable…looks as if someone picked holes in it then rubbed with grease, the toilet is from the 1950ish era… even flush unless you hold it down for a minimum of 20 seconds, the list goes on. I would hate to know a child with asthma stays in this room. I also think being in such a busy tourist town there would be MUCH better conditions. This hotel should be ashamed to even think to offer such horrendous accommodation, most of the population doesn’t live in filth, much less visit it. I have attached pictures which doesn’t do the situation justice.
