College visit with a side adventure

It was just what we needed for our college visit and excursion to a state park. We stayed two nights. The hotel is being renovated so breakfast was in a room, which meant there wasn’t enough space for people to eat. However, the hotel provided trays so that you could take your food to your room. The staff was really nice and kind. All in all a really great stay and we would stay again.

Rooms are clean and staff is friendly! Unfortunately they are undergoing renovations right now so it’s not in the best shape but as long as you’re not a late sleeper you’ll be alright! The breakfast provided still is adequate although they’re not in its normal area and seating is limited.

Our room was clean and spacious for our family of 5. Linens and towels were new and clean. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the new shower. Breakfast food variety was great. The dining lady was friendly but the first floor was being renovated. The bench seats were sinking in when I sat in one at the booths. It was nice to have a TV to watch there too. The receptionists were nice. Parking was small and limited at night. Overall we will come back again next time.

Once we saw the filthy room we checked out. The clerk was very polite about allowing us to do so. The couch was covered in disgusting stains, the carpet was filthy and the shower was rusted and the walls were discolored and looked dirty. The room should not be rented until renovated.

It looks like the property is going under some renovation. Our room had air in the waterline so when turned on the sink in the shower. Our room needed attention, loose wallpaper, crack, tile, caulking.

The hotel was under renovations. We were never told, the noise and smell of paint were terrible. Our room was so dirty, a bug in our bed and we had to put our own blanket on the couch to sit. The hallway rugs were so stained. Breakfast was terrible. Hot food was barely warm, the pancake mix came out runny and black! The orange juice was warm. The entire experience was subpar and when asked about it to management they just said yeah it’s all bad. Would never recommend this hotel!
