Great location plus helpful & friendly staff

Great location in the heart of Helen. It’s within easy walking distance to the shopping and so many great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even texted us 30 minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was okay with our room.

Road Trip Stop

Great location next to the river. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and swimming in the pool. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Juice, coffee, and cookies available all day. Comfy beds and clean, spacious bathroom.

Great location

Hotel is in a great location. With ample free parking. Easy walk into town. Hotel is a bit tired, but is undergoing an upgrade.

This is your typical older hotel. It’s not great to look at and the wear and tear is obvious. The lobby and breakfast area are a bit shabby. However, renovations were underway while we were there. All employees were very nice. The room was fine, bed was fairly comfortable. We ended up with a jacuzzi tub that needed deep clean but again that wasn’t a big deal. The thing that makes this hotel great is the ideal location. Not only is it walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but it is right on the river with a nice green space, picnic tables stairs right in to the water. Here you can watch the tubers all day and skip rocks in the evening. This hotel was perfect for my family although I do feel the price I was charged was a bit ridiculous, but I booked last minute so maybe that’s on me.

Amazing hotel! Now, this hotel is undergoing maintenance and the pool is also not open during the off season, but this was clear on the booking ahead of time. The location is perfect. You can walk right into Helen. It’s on the river. We had a beautiful view and even got to put our feet in the very cold Chatahoochie River. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back again!
