Excellent stay with a clean room with a beatiful view. Right on mainstreet so no need to uber to any spots and easy to drive out and come back to a parking spot.

Very convenient and perfect walking distance to everything. Very clean but could definitely use some repairs. Paint didn’t match on the walls. Lots of scuffs and scratched and gouges in the walls.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a river front balcony with excellent views. The staff is very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely return!

Property was nice enough- however, I have to give an honest review. When my elderly parents and teenage son checked into their room, there were some appalling ‘personal items’ left in the top drawers of the dresser….. so- was the room really cleaned??! I was also called by the hotel manager who seemed upset and asked if we ‘left our items behind’!!! When the issue was found to be with the hotel, I got a cold swift apology- Probably won’t stay here again.

Staff was good. Hotel is old but kinda nostalgic. The only issue was we had a room with balcony over the creek and the person under us smoked marijuana literally day and night. We were not able to enjoy the balcony or keep our door open that we paid a higher price for.

Check in easy and guy was friendly. Can't beat the location. Both doors did not open to the balcony. One was permanently shut and the window in that one was cloudy so it ruined our view a bit. One other issue, and no fault of the hotel, is the huge parking lot across the river. When it's full it kinda ruins the picturesque view you may be looking for. And during the summer all the tubers during the day probably destroy it. Beds were comfortable. They do offer some breakfast items. Make sure to read their terms and conditions, they are very straight forward and open. If you are surprised by anything you didn't read them. Honestly, for the price, next time we will go back to the cheaper, non balcony room. They have a great little walk along the river with tons of chairs and tables so we will just utilize that next time. But location alone is worth it, once we park the vehicle it doesn't move till we check out.

We enjoyed the room and kitchenette. The beds and bedding were super comfortable and clean. The only recommendation is to pressure wash the balcony. All in all it was a great stay and the area was so enjoyable. A must see if the HoferS Bakery right up the street.

The hotel and the entire town of Helen needs a complete remodel and updating. It is far too old; lots of broken, or torn tiles, bricks, and desperately in need of fresh paint. Cute town and I'm sure it was prettier back in the 70's or 80's.

Only negative would probably be that the walls are paperthin. Night person called to complain about the noise, and I have no idea what he was talking about. Our TV was on, but not loud, and we were just conversing - but he got very rude. We did hear the noise next door at 8 AM, so I maybe understand.

Great location
The hotel staff was nice but the decor was a little outdated. I would have given 5 stars due to location and overall quality but the only feedback I could give would be to have the curtains updated to black out curtains so the neon sighs did not peep through the curtains. I woke up several times thinking it was 7am but it was 1:50am.
