This was a last minute decision, but still a regrettable one. My girlfriend and I needed some away time...time away from the kids, time away from the grandkids, and time away from just plain being adults! I rated this hotel poor due to the quality of the rooms. Nothing is up-to-date, the rooms are in poor condition, and the beds are absolutely the cheapest, lowest quality mattresses they could have possibly found. I have slept on mats in jail that were more comfortable than the mattress in our suite. The hot tub in our suite was also nasty! We did not even attempt to use it due to how dirty it was. We were disturbed half the night with drunks arguing and fighting, and they said nothing about the fact that they had teenagers drinking vodka in the pool area! The only good thing about our stay was the pool. Although it was not the cleanest area around the pool, the water itself was clean and well heated, and the hot tub was also perfect temperature. I would rate this a 2 star! If not for the pool being warm and hot tub being hot, it would most certainly be rated a 1 star!! We will not be coming back to the Econo-lodge, ever! My personal recommendation....pay the extra to stay at the Holiday Inn just up the road, much higher quality and 100x more comfortable!! Do not reserve a room here, I promise you will regret it as much as we did!!
