Chatuge Lodge Review
Very clean. The ambiance was very restful, log cabin feel in lobbies (1st and second floors) huge stone fireplace with fire, big window views of the lake. The breakfast was real basic, cold serials or microwave oatmeal, packaged pastries. Juices and coffee/tea/coco available 24 hours.

Passing through Hiawassee for work on a rainy weekday. Affordable mid-option just off the main street but sits back on a hill overlooking the lake and is a quieter option to those immediately adjacent to the road.

The view of the lake was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is in need of renovating, but the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very limited and more like a snack bar with no hot choices. Overall is a good stay for the value.

Very outdated for the price. Bathrooms are the worst of the property - mold in the grout and top outside corner of the shower enclosure, several broken tiles in bathroom that clanked and shifted every time your walked on them. This was our second stay at this property, will be looking for a different property for our next visit.

Nice location. Our view from the 3rd floor overlooking the Lake and Mountains was fantastic. The Lodge needs to be updated and cleaned. Breakfast during the week was ok for continental food and coffee.
