The staff was great, the stay was average, the property is very run down and not clean, stains on linens. The lamps were gross, they had about a year of dust on the shades, the metal on the lamps were rusted 1 of the lamp shades looked to have mold on it. There was a dried old piece of fruit by the mini fridge that had been there no less than a year! Peeling paint, the the walls looked like they were painted by a 12 year old or they had 1 gallon of paint for 6 rooms....I will never stay here again.

There were chunks of hairs in the shower and bed. Room was dirty, towel and bed sheets stained. Inmediately called front desk and was told that there were no other rooms available and they Didnt have extra sheets or towels. We didnt leave because it was pased midnight and was promissed the room would be clean the next day. Next day when we arrived in the night the room wasnt cleaned and they only entered to leave two towels, which they were Also stained. Although I did receive a one night refund, the two nights we lost, wasnt worth the two nights with out sleep because of discuss.

The room carpet smells like a wet dog. Bathroom faucet was broken and bed sheets were stained. Next time try to book in advance so this is not your only option. The staff was kind and breakfast was ok.

Ok for two nights
It was OK for two nights. Overall the room was clean but the shower curtain was either dirty or moldy. The toilet roll holder was broken and kept falling off the wall, and the security lock was broken on the door. A little dated and you can hear the neighbors above you. Location is great, just a few minutes to everything.

Disgusting, dirty. Stained towels. Mold came out of jets from tub. Fitted Sheets kept falling off of bed. Fridge froze all my waters. Will never go back! Paid over $400 for the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in!

Red Roof Inn Helen GA - great experience overall
The check in lady was so sweet, and the room was very nice for an aging property. Our only real issue was that the dog park area was not well kept - there was damage to part of the fence and people didn't clean up after their pups, so it wasn't safe to turn our puppy loose or play with her off leash.
