The room was very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the room carpet had horrible stains. The beds were high and difficult to get in. The mattresses had a big hump in the middle to where it felt as if we would be rolled out on the floor (a little exaggerated but you get the idea). The alarm clock had not been touched by us but it blared music at 2am. We unplugged it then the clock buzzer went off very loud at 5am (must have had a battery). The only chair in the room was a straight chair. There was no breakfast just a Little Debbie cake and coffee. Our room was $175, $240 with taxes and fees. For that price we should have gotten comfortable beds and a comfortable chair. It was a terrible stay.

We were thrilled with our stay at the Smith House. It's historical character really appealed to us. It was extra clean, staff members were so friendly and courteous, several complimentary items were provided, and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. It had complimentary parking and it is just a short distance from the square in town. Less than 5-minute walk. We could not have asked for anything better. We highly recommend it.

could not regulate the water in the shower. It was either steaming hot or cold. could not get a shower. The a/c was noisy , could not sleep. outside noise was low and not noticeable.Room was clean and smelled nice. Limited chanels on the tv.

The location is great and easy parking as well. The Smith House is an old hotel but very well kept; however, I would highly recommend at this point upgrading some bedroom furniture and especially removing the room carpets now. Bathrooms are updated :)

This property is located very close to downtown Dahlonega, which makes it super convenient. Our room was small, but cozy. It was a less expensive room hence the size. The only thing I didn’t like was the air conditioning made a continuous buzzing sound all night long. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The Smith House is a beautiful place to stay. Once I parked my car I did not have to move it until I left to go home. It is very conveniently located near the Dahlonega Square. The room was quiet and clean. It like spending time with family. The restaurant is amazing. I would live at the Smith House if it were possible! 😊

The front desk attendant was very nice and she let my husband and I check in about 30 minutes early. Room was clean, air conditioner worked very well, and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again. Very nice parking accommodations.

This is a fantastic location to everything! It’s a short walk to all the restaurants, boutiques, museums, and a short drive to all the wineries. I can’t think of one negative thing to share! I didn’t try the restaurant, but maybe next time.
