We spoke with the manager as the first TWO rooms we were offered were VERY dirty (vomit on sheets - 1st room, and black speckled stuff on sheets - 2nd room / both rooms had very dirty unclean floors) The third room was an upgrade but the floors were so dirty I asked for a vacuum and did it myself. There was food all over, several elastics and straws in plain site on the floor. The carpet in the hotel walking around was not clean either - staff/manager said they had a change of staff. We also found pills on the floor - we had a child with us so that did not feel good. We booked this place as it was 1 of 2 hotels with a pool. We did not use it - if the hotel wasn't clean we didn't trust the waters. The breakfast was standard but we were so turned off by the cleanliness that we didn't eat and left almost as soon as we woke. Will not go back ourselves. Hope they can find better cleaning staff.

The floors were not clean and there was a pill in the corner. Fortunately I saw it before my dog got it. No compensation for it. Dog fee should have been waived when this was reported.

The pool is ice cold and not heated. Staff was very friendly and helped me with my suitcase the first night there. Great hot breakfast!

Cleanliness is an embarrassment

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Baymont. It is a cheap hotel, I get that, but I fully expected it to be clean. The chair was full of stains, there were things in this room I'm sure have not been cleaned in years, and I decided not to use the shower this time. The hallways were the worst. I think they stopped vacuuming and cleaning them since my last visit. I took my mom there for a little trip and was extremely embarrassed at the condition of almost everything.
