Really enjoyed my stay here. My room was lovely and I love the communal areas of the hotel. Everyone working there was really friendly and helpful. Having dinner included was an added bonus. I’ll definitely be back.

This was a beautiful hotel in a historic building in Helsinki. It was conveniently located, close to major attractions and easily walkable. The price of the room included a European breakfast and dinner each day. 100% recommend!!

Very nice stay

A very nice stay in a stylish hotel. The staff were excellent - special shout out to Ray. The dinner was also very nice, and breakfast had outstanding gluten free options including pancakes. The only slight downside was that the fold-out single bed in the family room was not hugely comfortable.

Wow — this hotel exceeded our expectations! The property is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Our room was the perfect size for two and incredibly comfortable. The included breakfast and dinner were the cherry on top — every evening featured a beautiful spread, and the food was consistently delicious. If you’re visiting Finland, this is the place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Stayed for 8 nights so got a good sense of the hotel. Well run with responsive staff. Very good breakfast - hot and cold - and dinner buffet turned out to be included as well as afternoon tea which I didn't get to try being out all day. Hotel is centrally located and Helsinki is a quiet city so nice area. The room was comfortable and very clean with excellent service, but the mattress on the bed was textured foam which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. I had asked for a quiet room but there was refurbishment work going on in the room above which was disturbing first thing. I did complain and it got better to some extent. Given the staff knew the noise had been an issue beforehand it was disappointing I was allocated that room. Overall the hotel was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying there again.

Absolutely fabulous architecture and fixtures. Room was super and included meals were more than satisfactory. They’re not big on services. More focused on Eco stuff than safety apparently. Stone stairs to second floor in our section had no handrails and sheer walls to ceiling. Therefore no arm support when climbing and nowhere to grab when descending if one slipped. There is an elevator but it’s only one floor so really. You’d think with thier focus on ecology issues they wouldn’t want to waste the electricity to get up one set of stairs. My wife left after me and had two large suitcases to get to airport. Hotel had no one to help get to lobby and taxi driver wouldn’t help her load them. She’s over 60 but young fit front desk staff were content to passively watch her struggle with the bags.maybe it should be 3 star rating.

We have had a fantastic stay - the food is absolutely marvelous and everyone, even vegans or people with various dietary restrictions (e.g. gluten, lactose intolerancy) will have a blast!
