Nice, modern apartments in central location

Nice modern apartments, nice neighbourhood and easy to walk into the centre. Only downside was the noisy extractor fan in the kitchen which you can’t turn off.

Nice unit. Well maintained.Convenient to tram system. Easy to walk into Helsinki downtown. Never had stayed at a place before that operated all digitally for check in and check out. While it was a little disconcerting to start with, it proved to be a very efficient system.

Well, its really not a traditional hotel. The rooms are studio apartments, with full kitchen and washer/dryer. But, no real life services... no front desk, no room ssrvices, no hotel lobby, staff, or restaraunt. The checkin and checkout was all electronic with no staff involved... luckily it worked, but i was very nervous that i wouldn't receive the access codes in time and there would be no help available.

Not the best of Bob W

This Bob W met our needs, but fell down on a few points. Pros: the kitchen-living-dining were well-equipped, well-organized, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. Cons: one bedroom in our unit was actually a walk-through space to another bedroom (that was not clear in the pictures and description), the stairs ran straight in to the bed, the bathroom flooded whenever we used the shower, and the sauna was not functioning and they had no one able to fix it. We were impressed with our Bob W in Tallinn, but this property in Helsinki let us down.

Stylish and functional apartment suites. Close proximity to the Market Square and the cathedral. Tram stop right outside the entrance. Easy check in and check out. The room was clean, spacious and amazingly designed. Bed was super comfortable. Very helpful to have a kitchen space and a washer/dryer. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here during your stay in Helsinki! Will definitely be booking a Bob W location again.

Great place at a good price

Nice hotel and a great location - central, yet a bit away. This hotel is situated just a few minutes from the central parts of Helsinki in a very nice part of the city. I did like the large rooms with an excellent bathroom. Note what all communication with the hotel is online, but it is easy to learn and works fine. Note also check-out is very early, (8 a.m.) it can be extended but at a price, and breakfast is not worth it as the cafe opens very late and the selection is limited. Instead just buy the breakfast in the supermarked in the building and enjoy it in your own room which has kitchen and a place to sit. I found the communication from the hotel very good, as far you can tune out the overly fresh tone. This place is highly recommended.

Wonderful accommodation with great service, despite being a totally contactless process. Great location for those taking the ferries for day trips to Suomenlinna and Estonia.

The cute appartments were perfect for a week. Conveniently by 2 grocery stores and kitchen had the necessity. luggage room was definitely a nice touch. Overall very happy and would happily stay again

The check in is easy and the room was nice and clean. However, the air conditionin/heating didn’t work properly. It couldn’t be adjusted, and the room was hot with the fan running loudly at the full speed.

The room itself was amazing - clean, well prepared, quiet, and in a great location. Local market is one block away, and multiple city landmarks and sights are within a 10 minute walk. Tram stop is right in front of the building door. If there's one small flaw, it's the virtual check-in. This proved to be an issue when I showed up with no cell service and no wifi - make sure to screenshot your building entry codes and apartment number before arriving if you are not going to have cellular data available. Otherwise, Bob W was an incredible hotel experience. The room felt very spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful and restful stay. Highly recommended - the Katajanokka island is a great place to stay in Helsinki.

Location was at the quiet end of town but still very walkable. Room was lovely, only issue was the bed in the glass cage was so close to the wall, very difficult for the person sleeping on that side to get out

Apartment was excellent really convenient location. Tram stop right outside, 24/7 supermarket in the building. Only negative was Luggage storage room was not labelled but some other tourists told showed us that the code worked on a “staff only” room next to main entrance which was the luggage room, otherwise we would not have found it. Had to contact Bob W to get check in ref as hotels.com ref did not work, however communication was prompt and advance check in easy.
